Funny how a LARGE amount of these fake Clark 'fans' keep making it a race issue, despite most of the nba players, and black tv analysts support, and root for her. Not Clark's fault, but you have trash racists like Sheryl Swoopes, but also have a large segment of white, racist keyboard warriors that don't do Clark any favors. And it's clear with the stupid crap they post that they aren't even basketball fans. Clark fits their "Us vs them" racist agenda, so they flocked to her, and NOT because of her basketball talent.

My most confident sports take of all time is that if you don't think caitlin clark is a hooper, than you dont' know basketball. She is smooth, her game isn't hitchy, she's fluid, coordinated, has great vision and awareness. To even try and argue against it is insane to me.

Caitlin Clarks college career alone qualified her for the Olympic team, not to mention her WNBA achievements. Similarly, Christian Laettner was selected for the Dream Team due to his collegiate success and popularity.
@kyleed753 ай бұрын
And not to mention Andraya Carter not doing her homework: Caitlin played on 3 FIBA teams in the 3 different countries winning gold every time, including the MVP in 2021. She knows the FIBA rules and the physicality. She was definitely qualified for the olympic team.

@@SuperBigblue19 lattener was a 2 time champion as well. He was cluch when his team needed him most. Caitlin LOST in the championship games to Angel Reese and Kamila Cardoso. If Caitlin probably won a championship or 2 like lattener did then she might of been on the team, who knows. She just wasn't clutch enough. And she had amazing teams and teammates. She just couldn't get it done and that's okay
@MiddleClassCitizen2 ай бұрын
I am glad you mentioned Christian Laettner as I was about to write it but I noticed your comment. Yes there are obviously more qualified players at that time to join the Original Dream Team but the selection committee wisely pick him based on his collegiate success and popularity. Of course unlike Laetter, Caitlin Clark would have been more qualified that many of those girls on the Olympic team.
@jonbreevaart74062 ай бұрын
@@MiddleClassCitizen Christian also won 2 national championships. Being a champion matters. Caitlin was a good player in college, but she couldn't even beat Angel Reese in the championship even when Iowa was ranked #2 and LSU #3. And then she lost to South Carolina last season. And she got swept this year in the playoffs and she was really bad in the playoffs shooting 14-40 from the field and 5-25 from 3..and she's one of the worst defenders in the league. Team USA absolutely made the right decision
@MiddleClassCitizen2 ай бұрын
@@jonbreevaart7406 - Obviously, you are amongst those Caitlin sourgrapers. Rooting for Angela Reese as the rookie of the year as well. You are missing the point by a mile. Had Caitlin Clark been selected for the 2024 Paris Olympics, they could have easily blown out the French ladies' team and not winning by just sheer of luck.

I believe that Diana Taurasi was a rookie when she made her first Olympic team? One thing the girls said in the beginning is that CC didn't have 'chemistry' with the other members. So, if you don't like someone or you don't have 'chemistry' with the other player, (re. white, non lesbian), then that's a good enough reason to exclude her? Thanks for the clarification!
@September20042 ай бұрын
One stupid argument I heard from Andraya, in response to your question, was that Breanna Stewart (a different player who also got on the team as a rookie) was that Breanna had already played for team USA 6 times while CC had only played 3 times (as college players). I’m thinking, “Like what happens between 3 and 6 that justifies one but not the other?”

This whole "She doesn't have WNBA experience" just doesn't hold water. Parker, Tarausi, and Stewart were also rookies invited to Team USA to play in the Olympics. Most of us would have a lot more respect for the league and women's basketball if they would just admit that they resent the new levels of viewership, paid attendance, and endorsement levels that CC has brought with her, so they wanted to exclude her.
