Caitlin Clark's Eye Injury Badly Affected Indiana Fever vs Connecticut Sun WNBA Playoffs Game

During Indiana Fever's First WNBA playoff game, Caitlin Clark's performance was bellow her standard perhaps because of the eye injury she got from Dijonai Carrington who is also NaLyssa Smith's girlfriend. Fans are so concerned about the injury since Caitlin Clark seems to be developing a black eye!

I'm telling you, if the WNBA doesn't start enforcing flagrant foul rules (which I think are assaults), then they may as well kiss this league goodbye. NOBODY wants to pay to watch amateur thugs trying to play professional basketball on a court assaulting each other. Maybe players like Chennedy Carter feel right at home with this shit, but I guarantee you, average fans and their kids AREN'T. Fouls with intent to injure should be charged as a crime and the player ejected and arrested by police. ENOUGH!!!

Very possible that Clark will suffer a career-ending injury early in her career. The Refs, Coaches, and Owners are fine with it. They get paid and the players are expendable.

@@reesevirgin2105🎯 You are absolutely correct! It is pretty amazing what some actual consequences would accomplish if they would start holding them accountable for their literal, endless and BRUTAL ASSAULTS on CC, Boston … too many players to list right now! You KNOW that it is BAAAD when CC’s parents, ever-faithful-Iowa-games attendees had to STOP coming to every Fever game very early on in her rookie season! Why? Per Caitlin, it is, understandably, far too difficult for them to watch their daughter, game after game, be viciously beaten up, knocked down, punched in the jaw, hit so hard her eardrum BURST, dropped to the unforgivingly hard court floor, constantly endure profane slurs flung at her - intentionally, repeatedly - all while NOBODY, most particularly her “coach,” “gm” - did anything to stop them from ravaging her! Up to and including tonight when experienced player, DC, undoubtedly deliberately, jammed CC’s EYE with her handy weapon of choice - her sharpened, far-too-long-to-be-safe talon! These MORONS “overseeing,” “running,” “reffing” this league all seem hellbent on a single-minded devotion to destroying Caitlin before her career can really soar! And WHY? Do they really hate all of this year’s record merch sales? Larger-than-ever, sold out venues, jam-packed with energetic fans, young and old? Private jets for the first time ever? More money than they have ever seen in their anemic league’s history?! And ALL because they cannot control their seething hatred and wrath for a TEAM-oriented, humble, kind, joy-filled, skinny, white, straight, catholic, midwestern, young woman?! Seriously?! 🤦🏻🤦🏻

The WNBA couldn't care less. They liked the way things were before CC came around. They don't care if they have crowds of 3,000 instead of 18,000. They loved their black lesbian league (the BLL) the way it was. Of course they would miss the chartered flights but they'd let them go to be rid of CC. They hate her that much. Actually hate is too mild of a word. They hate, loathe and abominate Caitlin Clark. It goes beyond words really.

You are all focused on the Clark eye-poke (for good reason). But the most violent play was when Ty Harris tried to permanently disable Lexie Hull. She blatantly tried to step under Lexie's ankle and at the same time, run straight thru her on the jump shot. It was just sheer luck that she misjudged the timing and ended up on top of Lexie's ankle, instead of under her ankle. If she would have gotten her foot under Lexie's ankle, just like Kawhi Leonard's injury, Lexie could have been done for life as a basketball player. That being said, I came in just as they were showing the first replay and I initially thought that Harris' knee into Lexie's thigh was a serious injury to Lexie. Again, pure tee luck that Lexie's thigh/hip weren't disjointed from that contact. You can tell it was a home game for the Sun as Harris was initially assessed an F2 foul, but since it was a Sun home game, and the fact that Harris was injured on the play, the "powers that be" reduced the classification from F2 to F1. That was garbage. Harris' foul was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond the F2 level. She should have been ejected from the series, injury notwithstanding. Clark has taken an excessive amount of injury-intent fouls, including dead-ball fouls in the back. But Harris' attempt to blatantly injure Lexie was disgusting. That contact was the most injury-intent contact, outside of the rules, that I've see all year, in any sport, including the UFC. Those fighters are trying to bash in each other's heads, but even they have rules. The Fever are at a severe disadvantage as they actually play by the rules and respect "the game", whereas all the other teams are just full of no-conscience cheap-shot artists. I hope the Fever girls can survive the series without anyone suffering a career-ending injury. I try to stay out of all the "political" $hit that's been the media's darling, but based on the unconscionable play of it's thugs, the WNBA, as an entity (with a few individual exceptions), is a league full of trash human beings.

I’d like to see what the attendance and TV viewership will be if Indiana gets knocked out. It would be funny if viewership and attendance drop by over 50%

The abuse Catlin is put threw is as bad as bullying and these players that have done this abuse are dispicable infant minded people that need to be addressed as well as the coaching.

Carrington is dirty player especially on clark! She sees to it that clark gets hurt everytime they meet..that’s part of their agenda if not a strategy on the fever.Another thing, wnba should prohibit LONG nails! Are you not aware that these could actually hurt somebody?Look what happened, the refs did not even call a foul! This is Not a fashion show where long painted nails are a rqmnt but this is basketball!!!Wnba do your job!👎👎👎

Actually I think it’s safer for CC to leave wnba and let them go back to complaining for equal pay. I don’t think any other league will disrespect CC the way these players and refs do. I fear for her as a parent myself. Ffs that kind of assault is career ending, for the victim and the offender.

Just stop watching contact sports if you can’t handle it. It’s disrespectful that you think the opposing team should bow at her feet. Clark knocked her contact out later in the game no foul called, and pushed her on a layup attempt. STOP THE CRYING

This must stop before she gets hurt. This polarization started with politics and now spilling over. It’s crazy. Let’s be honest if there was a wnba draft with current players CC would either be the number 1 pick but no worse than 2. She’s top 3 player already. If wasn’t for her nobody would even know who this Reese chick is. She is a better than average player nothing more. Her positives are outweighed by her negatives she is a me first player. She doesn’t make everyone around her better.
