Michael Jackson was a significant figure in music, as he pioneered the use of music videos to be these mini-movies (Thriller, Bad, etc), and he took dancing/singing to another level. By the time he's done Dimash will be recognized as another significant figure in music, showing the world what can be done with the human voice, and he's got a similar flair for presentation and theatrics. Очень рад был услышать твою реакцию, я в припеве композиции, услышал электро гитару, но потом понял ,что это голос Димаша, самый совершенный музыкальный инструмент, в концовке Димаш продемонстрировал приемы концентрации энергии китайского "УШУ", думаю это специально было сделано сценаристами шоу, чтобы подчеркнуть что он мастер музыкального кунг-фу.(I was very glad to hear your reaction, I heard an electric guitar in the chorus of the composition, but then I realized that it was Dimash's voice, the most perfect musical instrument, in the end Dimash demonstrated techniques for concentrating the energy of Chinese "WUSHU", I think this was specially done by the show's writers to emphasize that he is a master of musical kung fu.)

Thanks, Cait, for this Dimash reaction, and for mentioning the throwing of the mic stand, as I've heard no other reactor comment on it at all. I wonder if they even see it thrown. It is really masked very well by the lighting, which masking I expect was planned rather than accidental. Oh, well. However that may be, it's a fabulous performance from start to finish. Love this song, love the video, and love your reaction… Dimash made the video in green screens, and then the ocean and whale were added to the video. It wasn’t done in a single take since he threw the mic stand and then it appears next to him, but that’s okay. The song is from an unreleased movie. The song was written for Dimash after the composer heard his videos. The composer then had 3 different singers sing a demo, which she then took to Dimash to ask him to sing the song for the movie. I understand the setting for the song in the movie is a scene where Christ is in the Garden of Gethsemane praying to God the Father, knowing that His life would soon end and He would be returning to His Father. I don’t know if you are Christian, and it doesn’t matter. Nor do I know the movie and what kind of symmetry they are using. It is a culmination point in Jesus’s life, and the song portrays that so well. Also, the words to the song are so powerful when understood in context. When I’m on my deathbed waiting for my body to give out, getting ready for the great adventure that death brings, I want to listen to this song over and over again… I want to feel Dimash’s power and emotion, and team it with my faith and hope, and die with this.

I knew the song was about Our Creator (who IS Jesus), but I didn’t know that a scene where Jesus was in the Garden before His death, was portrayed in the actual movie! That is so cool! You have the same hope as I do! I just wish we had a better word in the English language to portray what’s meant by the original Greek word for hope, which means joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation, rather than the meaning in English of hope being you’d like it to happen, but you are not sure or certain it will! Anyway, I’m sure I’m correct when I say that we both take the Greek meaning on board and I’ll meet you on the other side when we are safely back home, where we were always meant to be!
