Hey Caitlin 🤗☺. Nice to see you discovering Dimash. I'm following Dimash since this show in 2007. It is hard to believe but he grew up levels above since what you are reacting to now. Stronger vocals. Extended lows, and highs. Amazing stamina in mixt. There is songs where he does pop and rocknroll. Music videos are top cinematographic quality. Great Dimash reaction. You are setting just the right tone, young lady, honest and connected, but not forced. For more Dimash, I would rec, Your Love, in Moscow. Another banger of his. Another artist that I would highly recommend is Chris Klafford. He was a Swedish Idol winner and AGT contestant. Just a wonderful singer and guitarist, with a singer/songwriter vibe. He does really pure acoustic covers and originals on his channel, called the Kitchen Sessions, that shouldn't have any copyright issues. Maybe one of the famous song covers? Imagine, Tennessee Whiskey, Either Way, if you decide to give it a go.

I love Dimash's accent. It is so endearing. Some people criticize him for his bad English pronunciation, but I love it. It just shows that he is not perfect in everything & is still just a human like the rest of us in at least 1 way & he tries so hard for his fans to sing in their language even though it is not easy for him. English is hard. Chinese is hard. & yet he has sung songs in these languages many times throughout his career. He is also getting better at English which shows how much he works & practices. This video was from 4 years ago in 2017 & his pronunciation in his newer songs, "Be With Me" & "Across Endless Dimensions" & "Golden" are much more clear. But we Dears love his accent. We call it Dinglish when he sings in English. Anyone who criticizes him should see if they can do better than him when singing in his language, Kazakh or Russian. Yeah I didn't think so lol. I wish I had a cute accent but no. I also love your accent, Cait. Is it from New Zealand? I am not sure though. You seem like a very genuine person & really enjoy watching Dimash with us & get all excited, which reminds us of when we heard these songs for the first time, so thank you for that. For those who like Dimash, two other must see singers are Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu from China. Zhou Shen has a high, feminine voice that often got him bullied in school. If his classmate only could have seen the talent in that voice. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell" and "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". Another singer that is highly rated is Hua Chenyu. One never knows what one will get with a Hua Chenyu song since he mixes genres and composes many of his own songs. He is an epic stage performer spilling his emotions into the audience so they can share in those emotions. He is also a master are redeveloping cover songs into his unique perspective. I have a recommendation list, but it is not really in any particular order. "Nunchucks", "Child", I am what I am", "Fake Monk", "Friend", and "Dad, I'm Home".

Great reaction. I think you said it best, he creates power moments. I think most singers sing a song as best they can and some do great. But with Dimash, with his range and abilities, it seems he takes a song and looks for places to create power moments, then sings it, regardless of what it takes, to best impact.

Dimash sings in so many languages that's really not easy, he sings with so much emotion and heart💓Dimash is the ONLY singer on the planet that gives me tears, shivers, goosebumps, heart and breath stopping everytime I listen to him, he must be an angel as NO singer ever did that to me, he deserves a Grammy, Oscar and many more to come!

Check out Laura Fabian’s Adagio for contrast. She is one of Dimash’s idols. He placed first on The Singer with SOS and Opera 2, then didn’t on nights 3,4,&5. Even placed a disastrous 5th with Uptown Funk. So he was determined to get back on top and Adagio pulled out all the stops. And he placed 1st again! One of his competitors gave him knee pads as a parting gift.
