I made a Caitlyn Vi deck and while it's not amazing, the flashtraps are hilarious. I had one game against nami/zoe. I was attacking with caitlyn and my opponent used a pale cascade to increase one of his unit's health to 5. He drew a flashbomb trap which just reduced the unit's health so he tried again and he drew another one. He sank 2 pale cascades and 2 guiding touches into trying to keep it at 5 health and just ended with an even weaker board than when he started.

It plays as more of a control deck, with Vi being there to take out any big units that the randomness of the flash bombs can't deal with. The goal is to fill the enemy deck with as many flashbombs as possible. There's also a lot of mutual draw effects that ensure you never run out of gas, while also triggering the bombs. Mogwai said the justice rider is a bad card, but I think it's actually a really powerful engine when paired with the hexcore foundry, but i agree it's really bad without it. I'm still tinkering with it but this is what I got so far. I'd say I win about a 3rd of my games, but I wouldn't recommend trying to climb with it. Edit: Just a reminder that it is a control deck and half of my wins are just me running the enemy out of cards with all of the mutual card draw.

I thought about playing Caitlyn Swain, but when I was experimenting with Cait decks, I found the biggest weakness was how badly the deck would stall if you couldn't protect your Sting Officers or Caitlyn. So I looked at regions that could help keep units alive, and I found some success with Caitlyn/Renekton. Cards like Scrying Sands, Quicksand, and Negation help your units survive while the Vulnerable package, particularly Ruthless Predator, helps Cait control the board and remove some units that could comfortably soak Flashbombs. Renekton and Ruin Runner act as finishers, and a single Boomerang Blade can net a couple cheeky Strikes from Caitlyn. I'm also fooling around with a Caitlyn/Lux deck, but it's not as consistent because it relies heavily on Final Spark to provide Overwhelm damage.

While your archetype with renekton shines with protecting your board, it neither does the job of Control or Overwhelm Aggro great since you miss the finishing spells like flock, scorched earth or guillotine. Some could be said for Cait with freljord.

After several decks of Puffcap Peddlers, Chump Wumps, and trying to keep my 1 health elusives alive, the strategy of softening up opposing units' health to hit them with overwhelm is the one thing I could come up with that Caitlyn can do that Teemo doesn't do better...

Most of the time I check the first minutes, where he explains about the deck, and I just watch one game or none. I watch whole video when I have time and I am interested more in the deck, but if I had to choose between the deck explanation or gameplay, I would choose the first one, because I love to see the logic besides the cards implemented

11:50 I am pretty sure you could have blocked with the officer who was being targeted by Darkness, so you would only lose 1 follower instead of 2. Unless you were trying to make more space on your board.

One time when I was in a situation where if I don't win this turn I'll lose next turn but I don't have cards to find me lethal, the opponents plays Aloof Traveler and drew me lethal. Bit of a double edged sword sometimes

SO hear me out. Zoe Lulu with bandle city. Bandle has many low stat minions to be targeted by Lulu as well as many ways to create new cards for Zoe. In addition, it has the most powerful finishers with pompous cavalier and tenor of terror, with a leveled up Zoe you can either give your entire board double attack or 2 stacks of impact (3 stacks to the tenor of terror itself because they grant it again to themselves)

This was my first idea when i build a caitlyn deck, was using Swain and Her, with the Ravenous Flock! i like the deck its strong vs Sion and Draven, but it loses to Fizz Nami Deck T.T and my luck on this game its to catch always fizz and nami decks. But yeah im glad a profissional player had this idea, i now khow im in the good way of building decks, and i started to see some Ziggs Akshan Synergy :3

Add "JUSTICE RIDER" in your TEEMO CAITLYN deck. You know the one you made that has the landmark that makes your opponent draw an extra card each round, that would mean at least 2 flashbombs per round, they draw additional cards = more bombs

I think the biggest problem with justice rider is that you cant spamm out alot of them or to do it you need to give up so many turns. Because if you manage to keep two or three out at a time with a hex foundry and maybe play the draw two spell (forgot name) you add alot of traps and deal a significant amoount of damage to the opponents board

Not sure if Mogwai sees this, but I guess that scorched earth on the last deck is there to potentially counter the Bandle Tree maybe, and they trade with low attack units so they're still damaging high hp units.

Told you that Aloof Travelers was going to be completely busted as soon as I saw it. A lot of people did. It was pretty obvious. Honestly, it needs to be nerfed to 3/3 AND have the card draw for you removed if they want to preserve its insane discard ability, because currently it's "Hey, what if we gave a follower one of the best play abilities in the game, AND put it on a decent body? Oh, and gave it a great secondary ability, like being a cantrip, as well?" Also it's hilarious that the first fool Nami player Pranked your Thermo Beam _twice_ when _it doesn't do anything_ because Thermo Beam always has a fixed cost of all of your mana. It SHOULD suffer reduced effectiveness when its cost is increased, but it doesn't. Since he also tried to cancel the Death Lotus with the Warning Shot (not understanding how Fizz's ability works) I assume he just doesn't know how to play very well and just copied a popular deck.

I've found 1-2 Iterative Improvement to be a bit of a MVP card in these Caitlyn lists, so many times you want another peddler, another aloof or the the enemies black market merchant into nabbing their dreadway(true story) Even better if its a 1 of Iterative with 2 of Station Archivist, so flexible

I feel that justice rider is only good in a deck with lots of shared draw. If you’re not running hexcore foundry, you’re not running justice rider. She’d also theoretically be great into decks trying to power level Twisted fate, but those haven’t existed since the nerfs.

Mogwai describing what happened when he tried to add Justice Rider only to remove one copy, then another, then another is exactly what happened to me :( I really wish the Piltover Police package was good on its own but it's just not. Even Sting Officer is unplayable with all the Go Hard/Pokey Stick/Mystic Shot/Make it Rain/Vile Feast/Group Shot etc... going around. Caitlyn on her own is still good though, like another Draven, just a well stated value unit

Why so? Mediocre Statline for the mana cost, generates a 5 mana slow speed spell that you can only activate turn 7 in one turn, leaving out any options. The effect of the card is a double-edged sword, giving the opponent card advantage. It just so underwhelming in a one trap deck. And there are better options for card draw in PnZ. Corina is worth so much more, considering all effects.

I just like him. Lux is one of my favourite Champions and he gives you Late Game Card draw and the Loss of tempo is reduced by lux‘s spell. Well, at least in theory, Lux is just very bad right now xD

Hey Mogwai, i recently created a Deck to counter Decks who love to use many spells or heavy Spells like Darkness from Senna and Veigar. I have Otterpus and Stony Supressor in it to annoy the enemy with his spells. As Champions i have Teemo for the early game and Heimerdinger for the midgame- endgame because my negative spells work well with heimerdinger. sadly this deck is a coinflip as i have it.. can you help me out?

Game one, when most wanted targeted mystic shot, you could put the spell on the stack, then remove it, and then it would be in your hand on the right side of the spider, am I right? If so, wouldn't most wanted target the spider?
