If Kang always replaced itself with a new card it might actually see play, lol. I'd be curious to see what would happen if Kang drew itself at the start of the game (start with 4 cards instead of 3), or if it was cheaper with activate, had power, and didn't remove itself.

Long time lurker here coming out of the woods to tell you this, been following your channel since 2019 when you made the chandra's acolytes deck. As a current One piece TCG player I'd love to see you play the game and the innovations you'd bring to this card game, I highly respect your deck building all throught MTG LoR and Snap.

Seeing many card reviews for different card games made me really want for someone to rate Arkham Horror LCG cards. One of the best card games I've played, has amazing deckbuilding opportunities, but unfortunately might be less popular because it's co-op and physical only. Still, the best co-op on the market in my opinion.

When Mogwai asked about trash interaction I assumed he meant the other way, an opponent interacting such as Pudding does to the hand. To which the answer is there's none. Black as a colour is so good right now because they can bypass almost all interaction, their combos come from trash, their board state doesn't matter until they Moria, and then they're the colour that has access to KO protection too. Also they don't care about being forced to counter cos they just puts cards in trash.

Another thing not mentioned about 9 cost Zoro is that you get triple effectiveness from attaching don to him. The turn he swings you can attach 7 don to pump him up to 16000 power and then swing 16k three times! Insanely fun (and effective) finishing move.

"If you don't have your combo piece you just suck" is actually quite apt. Hela players without Hela have no deck. Hela is the most boring playstyle in the game. But in a game where you see at least 9 of your cards each game, Hela is pretty consistent. And by extension, Hell cow is busted. I also like how he had the same thought process as most of us did when we first seen Baron. Lol. He looks so strong on the surface.

good fun, aside from confusion about what good rates are for cards the only thing i'm sad to miss is big buddy 'Shem

I started playing this game a few months prior to the death of LOR (been playing since before rising tides released) and man it’s just been a blast. Like you said the game is very nuanced, even more so than LOR id say in terms of the mechanics. I really hope you give the game a try 🙏🏼
