On that first battle, when you said "they gave up trying," to be honest I applaud that person for actually going on with the battle. I concede when I see a Mewtwo or Pikachu deck automatically. It's not even fun to play against at this point, it's just a constant repetition.

As much as you were bemoaning playing the tier 0 strat it seems like you were really enjoying the games. Sometimes it’s okay to play the thing we all know is busted and enjoy the feeling of being in great positions all the time. It’s a card game, nothing wrong with playing to win

in terms of future proof, if power creep comes with hp creep then Charizard EX is best because it will probably still 1 shot those new high HP ex pokemon. Technical game play may get around Charizard but it will better fill the Mewtwo EX meta w/ Mewtwo one shotting most of Pokemon (besides the the gardy support)

I'll never understand how the bird that is not weak to electric in the pokemon game is weak to it in the card game. Like I would imagine fighting because it also includes rock as well as ground types but pop off Nintendo 😂😂

Hey Mogwai, been loving the decks and the daily content. I cooked up a pretty annoying deck to go up against. 2 Persian, 2 normal Gengar, 1 Red Card. Our win condition being to hopefully delete the opponent's win-condition with Persian and keep them from manipulating the board in the end game with Gengar. Been fun and fairly consistent at setting the board up. Bonus points to hit 'em with the Red Card and successfully discard one of those 3 cards via Persian and keep them behind the whole game.

I played mostly blaine decks atm because im missing one more pikachu ex. funny thing is whenever i battle a pikachu ex deck it goes down to who gets something first: me with blaine and ninetales or him with pikachu ex and a full bench.

I always play Pikachu EX. Pikachu was the first gold card that I ever got so I built around him and was proud of my deck. Then I realized it was one of the best decks in the current meta and was like... F it. I'm having him. Everyone else can lose. I'm going to continue playing it.
