Hi Kids, I will ask a novice question, even though I just saw this for the first time today April 1st, 2023. (p.s. I'm 74, and my lovely bride Nita is 68, but we are always hungry for regional food.) We live in CT, and I want to buy crawfish that I saw in the supermarket. I can't come to GA (because they won the Nat'l Championship...again!) or Louisiana, but I want to boil up Easter crawfish this week. Are the crawfish in the market here in CT any good? I think they're from a farm. Any help is appreciated, and have a great Easter.

I do mine a little different potatoes go at the very beginning with all the seasons and garlic and onions..After rolling boil I add the Sosage and crawfish..Sosage are already cooked..Once pot comes back to a boil before I turn pot off I add frozen corn and cook two more minutes then I turn pot off..I add ice to the pot and a sprinkler to cool outside of pot for around 20 minutes they soak...then I serve..
@JulielinhMouret3 жыл бұрын

We’re planning a crawfish boil for my son in law on his birthday coming up in July. We’ve wanted to do a boil for the longest time but it’ll be our first, so to prepare I’ve watched more how to videos on the subject on KZbin than I could count. Your video was by far the coolest, easiest to understand and best presented out of them all. Great job on explaining how to put a crawfish boil on from start to finish for a newbie like me. Thank you for the info! I’ll drink a cold one in your honor when the food hits the table that day!

Sorry for the delay! I was traveling… you want to fill up the 80 quart pot about 2/3 full to start so that you don’t overflow your pot once you drop the crawfish. If it isn’t enough water to where the crawfish are submerged- then add enough water to make them submerged. Thank you for watching and commenting.🙏🏼
