1. the Train moving cake, that really was amazing, the entire cake, 2nd probably more emotions than anything was the Archie cake, 3rd and 4th are a tie, The drunken reindeer, if it had been a sugar coma it would be 3rd, but I can't show this to a child and say Rudolph had a night, and my whole life is with kids, hehe, so some other wording because 6 and up can read lol , The red truck, that is home to me, you see those red trucks with Tree's in them everywhere around here, and no reason other than picking up a tree lol. Funny thing, just so you know how much our town loves Christmas HAHA, Someone bought the exact Station Wagon the Griswold's had, they had real to life cut outs made of all of them and somehow Clark even looks like the driver, the Car has so many things that say National Lampoon on it, and the car speaks for it's self lol no words are written haha, he drives that around and we give him a few dollars, everyone does for gas, just to make the town happy. sorry so long, I just wanted to share that small town Christmas story . I have a cake idea I wanted to share ... I would love to see a big cake made, from an old story book or movie and tell the story on the cake, That is my dream cake, one with moveable parts, anything goes type of cake, but the story has to be the star of the show it has to tell the story so even a child knows . I saw one done with the Nutcracker and not a dry eye was in the room, I was little and remember because I was part of the Nutcracker, it was so beautiful and every part of the cake told the story. The moment Marie befriends her Nutcracker made by her father, the clock maker and then it even shows him come to life in a mirror showing him as a Prince and you can see her too. It shows each character in some form like the Sugar Plum Fairy, even though that is the Disney version, they added it and it was just a magical cake, I wish I could show you the home Video of it and Cavalier, The evil Snow Queen he is smiling as the Calendar shows it's Christmas eve, it has the Mouse King and so many things are added to it that makes you know the story is the Nutcracker in order as it is done. you knew what it was about. Classics or older ones that everyone knows.I thought about the night before Christmas, I think you could do this type of cake, when I say tier I mean big and tall, sorry so long, I never write so I took advantage of it lol.. I will see if I can find that cake I am referring to online, I know it was. BRB No I could not find it. Oh I would love for you to see it to give some inspiration in what I am referring to. You could do any Holiday , something, a movie, a book, something that told a story made into a cake, Archie cake was #1 in my heart however :) Merry Christmas and many prayers for Archie, love to you all

The fireplace is the clear winner. Any Christmas cake has potential to be amazing, but to put in the personalization, and be so on point it made you cry is artistry beyond what the others did. That was truly special and you can't put a price on that.

@@ShannonStevens-gl7le that is true however you have to look at the cakes, not everyone had Archie in it however there were cakes that were a lot more work and details IMO, I as far as emotions, Archie "takes the cake" but to be fair I don't think it's the best of the best. If you removed everything Archie, which one would you choose? We want to be fair and choose with what deserves the best, It was a beautiful cake, heart string 10 million points, but maybe we post Archie's cake as the one we will never forget, sweet baby!! Love and prayers Archie!!

That very first cake, solid white with ball ornaments on top. It could have been so beautiful if they added different colored ribbons hanging from each ornament. The ribbons pieces could be falling down the sides of the cake , having a few twists and curls to them. That would have set this cake off. I'm talking about edible ribbons pieces also, not the real thing , lol.

I think it was coated in white chocolate, so the texture was carved, but it was definitely styrofoam. Even in the clip she shows in this episode you can see how light it is by the way it wiggles when she touches it.

I don't usually give advice on any platform, but this is for Archie, so.... There are two internet vets you might want to contact, if you haven't done so already. One is Dr. Sue, cancer vet if that's the issue. If not, Dr. Karen Becker seems to be on top of all things dog. Good luck with Archie. I hope this wasn't intrusive.

#1 for me was definitely the Christmas fireplace. It had everything and was super-personalized and SO detailed! #2 was the Grinch cake, pretty much for all the reasons you gave. It's a tie for 3rd between the DJ Santa and Hot Tub Rudolph they were well detailed and just plain funny! The 'Drunken Reindeer' cake on the first tier is definitely worth it to me for the sheer humour and attention to detail in the storytelling. 😊 The presents in the back of the truck tree are phenomenal! Hot tub Reindeer is also hilarious. 😂

The grinch cake actually had a lot of cake. It was so detailed, I loved it. The DJ Santa cake for $1,000??? Where was the cake? A good decorator can make all of the elves and presents and Santa with molding chocolate!

I have to wonder about ingredient quality in those first 2 cakes. The simplicity and elegance made me assume that the chocolate, fondant, buttercream, fillings, flavors, and flour were all top notch imported ingredients.

I’m not a “mechanical/musical” cake person. I like simple, but effective. My faves are the Red Truck in $ price point, definitely Reindeer in the hot tub in $$ price point. And absolutely #1 in the $$$ price point is the Fireplace cake with stockings for you all, including Archie. There were soooo many wonderful details you constantly discovered. Worth every penny. It’s my total #1 for sure!!! The $1000 buttercream Christmas tree, huge ripoff and disappointing. Always buyer beware. Wishing you and Kevin a Blessed Christmas 🎄🎄

Oh wow! I've been following you for a while, Laurie--I remember all of these cakes! 👵My #1 is the Rudolph in the hot tub. That one really cracked me up! My #2 was Santa getting caught putting presents under the tree and bear his bum. The reindeer getting wasted on the cookies slayed me!! I could not stop laughing at that and all the other details. 🤣 In a category all by itself as most outstanding cake is the fireplace cake. That bakery really was in tune with YOU and when you're ordering a cake (especially for that kind of money), you want them to listen or else you're gonna get that POC generic cake of the tree and presents. This was fun! Yalls videos got me through some dark pandemic days. It was fun to see cakes of Christmas Past! Top 5 Cakes- -The Drunk Reindeer in the hot tub. 🤣 died. So good. -I really loved the Fireplace snow globe gravity defying cake! -Of course the Grinch cake was EPIC. Max was so dang cute!! 🐾 -Carousel Cake was just unreal. So beautiful! -Loved the fireplace with the smoke. Amazing. Plus the personalized stockings and gifts and such. Awesome. My church does a blessing mass for pets, so I added Archie to the list of pets to be prayed for. I do hope he’s feeling better. Praying for y’all too. I think the reindeer in the hot tub takes the cake, it was so funny but also very festive. The fireplace cake is my second favourite, because of the details and personalised touches. Now I'm dying to know what was written in the cards! I also really liked the $300 Santa butt peeking one. I have no idea how long a cake like that would take time to make, but I'm thinking days. $300 is a lot, but then again, you did pay $1000 for something that was actually kinda underwhelming, and suddenly, the Santa butt cake seems like a bargain.
