Cake & Candles | Episode 1 (LGBTQ+ Web Series)

Hi friends, a year ago today we released Episode 1 of Cake & Candles and we’re still overwhelmed with the incredible response it’s had since. Many of you have expressed an appetite for more episodes - it has taken us some time to come to this decision, but unfortunately we will not be shooting or releasing any new episodes for the foreseeable future. As a small, self-funded team based in different countries, we have not had the resources to channel our energy into the series full-time, but we are still determined to tell these characters’ stories. We will use this hiatus to write the entire series and make it the best it can be. We’re thrilled that so many of you have embraced our characters so fully, and we can’t wait to come back and tell their stories. We will continue to screen Episode 1 in various venues across the UK, and all updates and news will be on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Thank you for all your support, The Cake & Candles Team 💖
