Seems like Asim writes from personal experience. It seems so. Cake, and now Barzakh. Look at the shadi ki salgirah in Cake, and now, the wedding in Barzakh. And the song calling, O my darling, ab to aja. Similar setting and environment, that solitary tree demanding attention. Isn't it something? Symptomatic of something significant to the creator.
