Great video. What a lovely effect. I kind of did this once so the front would be a rainbow but it was more halved right down the middle.

Love your tutorials. First I’ve heard of this trend. Have you ever seen it where the decorations are carried over the top and down the back? I think that would be cool.

@CakesbyLynz2 жыл бұрын
Hi, the board was called a masonite board. Its similar to a drum board but it has mdf inside and then is covered with white on the outside.

hi i follow your tutorials step by step. i made this one but mine oozing out liquid from the bottom. i did try to cover it with more butter cream but no use. please help.
@CakesbyLynz2 жыл бұрын
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that. Is it buttercream that's coming from the bottom or did you add a different filling to your cake? If its buttercream it sounds like your buttercream might be too soft so as the cake is turned its running out.
@umeramirza31732 жыл бұрын
@@CakesbyLynz I used American butter cream but I realized I soaked my cake layers with simple syrup lightly and when I did stand it on its cut side the pressure on the cake structure itself oozing it Butter cream is fully solid and settled you can’t even see any left over gap
@CakesbyLynz2 жыл бұрын
@@umeramirza3173 It definitely sounds like the syrup is running out of the bottom of the cake as its turned on its side. If the buttercream is firm hopefully it should hold the cake. I don't use simple syrup on my cakes so I didn't realise this would happen for people who do.
