Is that Adobe Audition 3.0 running behind you? If so? That was my first DAW. I've never found a new DAW that I'm as comfortable with as I was with Audition as far as workflow.
@AudioTechTV3 жыл бұрын
@@EasyHeat It is Audition 3. I got that when I was in school for radio broadcasting and used it up until this year. It stopped working on my Windows 10 after an update. The workflow of Audition is amazing. It's a shame they removed midi capabilities from it as it used to be an excellent full DAW. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
@EasyHeat3 жыл бұрын
@@AudioTechTV I was using it when it was still CoolEditPro pre Adobe. Even though it was a destructive DAW, it was more akin to the analog reel to reel tape environment I learned in prior, and I tended to approach it with the same philosophy as far as performance capture. I've recently had no issue with my copy of Audition, and I actually still use it within Reaper for .wav editing. It actually was once up for free on Adobe's legacy download page, but it's been taken down almost a year ago. However, I've been able to use that legacy download's .exe by combing it with a trial "cracked" installer by copy/paste replacing the legit .exe for the cracked one after install. It seems to work smoothly on all my machines, but yeah, not having midi or VST support is what got me on Reaper. I've actually just recently customized my mouse wheel scrolling and time selection options within Reaper to "feel" more like Audition. If only I could also get it to categorize plugins and have them drop menu available. Anyway, if you're in need of a working "legacy" install? I'd be glad to help. Take care amigo!

Some of the Cakewalk plugins might work in other daws. You would need to setup your other DAW to search the cakewalk plugin folder. I know the guitar amp sim doesn’t work in other daws but that’s the only one that I’ve tried. Some of the others might work.

when I create a new instrument I don't get all the options you get for the instruments, is there a fix?

Do you know how to fix my song playing thru one ear in headphones and the beat playing thru the other? Instead of the beat + vocals playing threw both ears?

This worked great with my MPK mini, but I couldn't get the ASIO driver mode to recognize my Mbox 2 mini, even with updated drivers. Any ideas on how I can get them to communicate with each other?

I don’t own that audio interface so I reslly can’t help too much. I know on some of those older digidesign interfaces the drivers can behave weird when using other DAWs (not pro tools). You could try downloading ASIO4All (it’s free) and setting it up in there then set Asio4all as the driver in Cakewalk.
