Just come back from a lovely week in Palma Nova, your tips have proved useful many times.If I could add a tip for other subscribers, I would say if you are going to Blackbeards , consider going early ish.We turned up at 9pm and there was no more back ribs.What we had instead was lovely though.

The water looked absolutely Crystal clear and really so Inviting for you to just jump in there and have a very Good swim along in the shallows. Plenty of Bars and Restaurants and Clubs, for people to go and have a really Good time at. The prices of the Sunbeds and Parasols was very Good value for your money. We love Cala D'Or, but the cost of eating out and spending for the 10 nights was ridiculously expensive last year, we aren't rushing back. Pity. Spain and canaries etc so much more affordable when there.

Its getting very expensive in majorca now also factor in flights, hotel tourist tax etc but i think the worse bit being there seems to be new rules for us brits coming up all the time when visiting spain, i do love majorca but all the red tape certainly puts me and my family off. Its nice to follow your visits to the resorts.

It always sounds like Brits are being punished, but it's not really new rules for Brits but a return to the rules that were in place before we were in the EU... And I'm sure Spain itself are against most of them!

I've been going to cala dor for 15 years , I think I paid for two sunbeds and a brolly once €15. learnt my lesson, towel on the sand now, I don't mind spending money ,if it's reasonable.

You are right. I was literally running to get through the resort - I didn't see, but they are all about the same - to budget, use Cala Fererra's prices and they were slightly more.

If your shocked at the price of the sunbeds Alex you’ll be traumatised if you look at the price of the hotels and that’s only in may ! also reading from regulars to the island that food and drinks prices in the last few years have rocketed, definitely a ploy to make magaluf more upmarket, am afraid I’m gonna have to holiday elsewhere which is a shame, better value on the mainland of Spain.
