Thank you Again Alex because of your Channel my wife and I are coming to Palma Nova 20th of this month for a week ,We normally do city breaks however this will be our first confident beach experience in 30 years thanks to your Channel ,as I said to you previously with the Mac. Palma Nova and the Son Maties beach is such a lovely place. Anyone looking for a good family hotel, you can't go wrong with Cas Saboners.

Hi there,granted its14 years ago since we were in Palma Nova and stayed at the Cas Saboners but we weren't impressed at all. Had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the main road and the bins being emptied every day. That part of the hotel felt forgotten about as it was not upkept at all. No joke a durex was on the ground for the two weeks we were there. We would love to come back to Majorca and would definitely at the Cas Saboners if it's had new owners and smartened itself up.

San Maties beach , We paid 19.50 on Sunday from 2.30 till 6pm . We did ask about half day rental and was told no such offer .

Great video. We visited puerto de Soller tuesday and the fee was 18,50 for two beds and a parasol. It was probably the 2023 prices I saw. So probably an increase for this season. In puerto de Alcudia they´re talking about 12-15 € this season. And as you mention, prices hasn´t been adjusted for several years.

Are all those white stakes/poles sticking out of the sand for umbrellas? During what I would assume is the busy tourist time of the year, the beach is so busy and cluttered with toys. Are there are nice pristine beaches around that aren’t so busy? Coming to a beach looking like that would make me turn around and go back to the airport.

Come back in winter - all the beaches are empty then . The tourism season is short here so yes busy in the summer
