Hi Chris, Place does have great possibilities, especially if you knocked a wall or two down. The separate storage area has possibilities as well. Here's an idea that might be too much trouble to consider but if there was a sketch of the floor plan in your you tube with the removable walls labeled it could really excite the imagination of potential buyers. Just a thought and could be too much trouble to do. Returning to France August 5th. Frank

Hi Frank! Great idea! I have included floorpans on some properties. the cadastral plans are normally updated with the commune once the property is in contract and some do not have them at all however Some already have projects already outlined and these we should definitely put up! So glad you can head back to France! Let me know if you head out way!

Thanks for such wonderful videos. Fascinating! So many possibilities to revamp creatively. Such wonderful bones and already habitable. What is the Internet accessibility, speed and reliability like for someone who relies on Zoom calls for a living? Would Internet be better in Scalea than S D T? Do any of new purchasers from overseas live there year round? I presume doctors, clinics and hospitals in Scalea or nearby? Sorry for the deluge of questions but that's the price you pay for producing such informative and inspirational content (smile)!

Hi Seamus! Yes a lot of potential! Our internet is great and my house is just around the corner from me. I upload videos all the time. Several of the strainer do live her full time and more are coming. We do have doctors and nurses in the village and a hospital in Belvedere and urgent care in Praia a Mare.

@@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC Thanks so much for the comprehensive reply. That's fantastic about the Internet. It's far from a given in many rural parts of the US, for example. It's also great to hear about medical care. I would need to research specifics of how local system could meet my particular needs (if I progress beyond the pipe dream stage that is). I am originally from Ireland so would have residency through my Irish passport, and thus access to Italian health care. I've loved your videos for some time but thought these kinds of properties would only suit as vacation properties for people wanting to go off grid for short stretches and be disconnected from it all (including Internet). The price (for what you get) is so much cheaper than elsewhere in Europe (take Ireland, for example, where it can be like California in places). It's also far cheaper than equivalent properties I've researched in Mexico, where I've spent some time. Mmmm, lots to consider. Thanks again for the video and for your thoughtful reply.

Many people remain masked in Italy as long as the virus is not under control and not everyone is vaccinated. It's no longer mandatory outdoors though, but many people keep wearing them out of consideration for others.
