The nostalgia is insane here. Looking back when I played one of the first versions of release, idk why I liked it so much, I only added it because I was trying to do a yo-yo only run and wanted some content mods to make it interesting. Glad I did because watching this mod go from nothing to THE mod of all time was spectacular

Functional boss AI. Jokes aside, seeing how calamity has came and improved from 1.0, mainly DS and DoG in 1.0 cal was really wacky.. seeing DoG splitting is really cursed Now, i wonder who will no hit these..

It would be cool to see a challenge run of someone trying to beat modern calamity using only 1.0 release items. Not sure if the endgame bosses would be doable tho.

Calamity is just a testament never to judge content mods, even the most incomplete mess can grow to be the best content mod in video game history with enough support and motivation, and it did. Oh boy it did.

the draedon bars im pretty sure were inspired by the exxoavalon mod's *super-hardmode bars*. either inspired directly by that or inspired by the youtuber *BaumProductions*' playthrough of the mod.

Honestly except the bosses the weapon and armor concepts still kinda hold up. This port also shows how fast terraria modding evolved into the visually stunning content we know today.
