These playthroughs are invaluable. I have both games and remain convinced that there’s a great game buried in here , somewhere. Whether I can excavate it is debatable. I found the same with Crown of Roses which I , eventually, gave up on . I can’t understand how the designer let this come to publication after the problems apparent in the first game. How did the play testers not flag up these problems ? What is the point of play testing if they didn’t ?

I can't understand how the company allowed it. The designer and sometimes even the developer may be too close to the game to really evaluate it. GMT has to put better processes in place not to publish stinking piles of shit.
