14:02 wouldn't the length be 6? we have . Previously you took the point (0,1) and drew the vector . This vector would end at the point (0,3), with length 2, basically 2 steps vertically from the point (0,1). Now the point (0,3) would give the vector . This vector would end at point (0,9), with length 6, basically 6 steps vertically from the point (0,3). So how come length 4? Thank you for these videos.

You are correct. I should have written f(x,y) = x^2 + 1/2y^2.
