In this video we'll learn how to use the experimentally determined rate of one component in a balanced chemical equation to calculate the rate of another component. This is one of those rare cases in kinetics when we can actually use the stoichiometry of the balancing coefficients. This process applies whether we're comparing disappearance of two reactants, appearance of two products, or disappearance of a reactant compared to appearance of a product.
