Nuclear Stability

This video looks at the Chart of Nuclides (N vs Z plot), and works through some examples to calculate N/Z ratio for an isotope, determine if expected to be stable, and predict the likely mode of nuclear decay if unstable. The stable values of N/Z presented here are an approximation, and can be used loosely with relatively extreme examples to predict stability.
