how you know that conversion factor how to findout and this factor is same for all vessels or small craft will have different one??? please let me know

Hi. The formula used in this video is valid for all vessels regardless if size as long as you know the propellor pitch,.RPM and an estimate of the slip

@And Rey Which other question? Do you mean #2? With Pitch = 26.2 and SOA is 18.6? The answer to that one should be 69.2 RPM. 18.6 x 6080 / (26.2 x 60 x 1.04) = 69.2

Sir thank you so much for your Sharing of your knowledge . But the answer indicate in My Sci cal is. 61.28 or (61.3RPM) Sir please correct me if I'm wrong. you avid listener sir.

Hi. Thanks for watching. I just did the calculation again and got 64.1 again. I'm not sure what you are doing differently. Are you using all of the same numbers as I am in all of the same places of the formula?

He wrote 15 instead of 15.7 You will get 64.1 if you correct the SOA
