Because 2100 is not a leap year; after which, the calendar years from 1700 to 1799 can be applied to 2100-2199. More simply, just add 96 from 2004 to 2096 so that 2100 (after March 1) is the same as 2004, 2101 the same as 2005, etc.

There is a different way bro ,it consists of 12 numbers , but never going above 6 so u have 7 digits 0 to 6 0 represents Sunday. But u have to have the key which 12 months know the number representing the month way easier, but 4 get I learned it from a Chinese man who was very smart.

These doomsday things make it so very complicated!!! And there are way more errors being produced when you get one step wrong. When I was younger, I found a better method in one of my mother‘s magazines and it still needed improvement and so I improved on it. July 27, 2007: 2007-2000(last solar cycle year before 2007) = the 7th year, which has a year code of 1, on my perpetual calendar. July 27, 2007 is on a Friday.

Give the guy some credit, overall he had most of the formula correct. After going over his method, Like several of you I too noticed he left out the additional leap year step of subtracting 1 for Jan & Feb. Still, he did an outstanding job, I’m sure he’s learned more since making this video. There is another error, but it’s a minor one. Anyone who ventures with learning a math formula related with our Julian and Gregorian calendar, Deserve credit and encouragement to continue pressing forward. My hats off to this fellow, he deserves credit for what he has achieved.

Does this work in reverse, up to February 1900? It should, since there was a leap day in 2000, due to it being a "400" year. I tried 1967. Formula produced January 1 as a Saturday. [-1 + 67 + 67/4] mod 7. That is 66 + 17, which is 83. 84 is equally divisible by 7, so [83]mod 7 =6. That means Saturday. Checked the 1967 calendar, and January 1 was a Sunday.

i DONT KNOW WHY YOU COMPLICATE THIS SO MUCH. anyway 3/3 5/5 and 7/7 is the smae day as you explain the other, the reason is that the diference is 63 and 63 is a 7 multiplier. So I have been world record on calendar in world competition, and when people see that, maybe they thisnk that is to complicate. Calculate a date is very easy, calculate a date very fast is really dificult. I am talking about 1 date every 0.60second.

Yeah, there's a different set of information you need for other centuries. I like his reasonably simple way to find out the doomsday for the year - but the algorithm is longer if you're outside the 21st Century. Essentially you have to REMEMBER that doomsday in 1500, 1900, 2300, etc was on a Wednesday. Doomsday in 1600, 2000, 2400, etc. was on a Tuesday. 1700, 2100, 2500, etc. is Sunday.... and 1800, 2200, 2600, etc. is Friday. So you start with the number code of THAT doomsday, and divide the last two digits of the year by 12, hold that number, add the remainder, and add the number of times the remainder goes into (?)8(?). You add those four digits together, and then keep subtracting 7 from the total until you're left with a number less than 7. That number corresponds to the day that doomsday falls on in that year: 0=Sunday, 1=Monday, etc. Then you can work backwards to find the day that your target date is on.
