Thank you, your post prompted me to find the chairgun app and with that, I managed to work out the BC of my ammunition 😁

Hi Si. . . another good bit of info . . . thank you. . . hears a quick bit for you. . . to measure the centres of any hole's (your drawing pins centres as example) measure from the side of the hole to the same side of the other hole . . this give the centre measurement. . . so . . the top of the top drawing pin downward to the top of the bottom drawing pin. . . gives the centre . . . . drawing pins or actual holes. . . works a treat . . . . thanks again

Nice vid. When measuring centre to centre in engineering. . . measure between either both the tops or both the bottoms of the drawing pin (if they are both the same diameter) this will give the centre without need of a little wobbly guesswork . . . it will be exact. Whoops just read down a bit and I said this a while back. Keep the Vids coming VHTV

i used a similar method on hawk software, what i did was changed the B.C. in box provided until the B.C matched my impact point on the graph, mine was done from 15 yards to 25 yards, same aim point just zero set at 15 yards, as i changed the B.C. the arc started to move and then i simply stopped arc when the graph showed pellet height at 25 yards showing my B.C. its a neat feature i have known for a long time, it was a way to get a B.C. with out shooting over my chrony for muzzle velocity and then over it again at 25 yards. the software works good for sight in also, as you keep typing in sight in distance yard by yard until you get the arc close to line of sight or what i like is a half inch below line of sight, and similar to the field target setting you showed in hold over hold under video

Exactly what I was going to point out. The only way to make this a reasonably decent way to measure BC is to use a chronograph in tandem with your bullet drop. And the software will also take that data. however Si did not use his info just stayed with the stock info in the software

Si, that micrometer is calibrated upon the CENTER mark not the first mark. It was not 9.1 cm. It was 9.4+/- a half mm. I have one exactly like it. Just information you might find useful.
@colliedogjoy5 жыл бұрын
After extensive research, I think you're wrong, respectfully. I think his Vernier Calipers read 9.10cm. The lower scale reads the 2nd decimal place, which is aligned at 1, therefore it reads .10....

what o mate got something to ask . with a 22 air rifle zerod at 25 yards what will be the first strike point will it be 10 yards .
@jeremiah68646 ай бұрын
My guess is that a zero at 25 yards IS your first "strike point" and that the second is somewhere between 40-50 yards based on a scope height between 1.5-3" off the barrel c-to-c.

Hi laka, I love my r10 so i would have to say "yes" to your question pal. Im not the best shot and for me to get almost 5 pellets in the same hole at 40 metres with a .22 calibre r10 the rifle has to be good. Si
