sir all the concepts were well explained.But in the final part when it comes to the diagram the LHA should be measured from observers meridian to body westerly, but you have taken from body to observers meridian.I think it should be the other way. kindly explain and correct me if I'm wrong..thanks

You are absolutely correct buddy. My apologies for the error.

Sir about your GHA and Increment correction, what is your bases if it will be addition or subtraction?
@earlllacuna64014 жыл бұрын
Increments are always added to the GHA. It’s like you are adding hours (GHA) and minutes & seconds (Increments) to get the total GHA.

Bro at the end of the video you have stated LHA measured from the celestial body to the observers meridian which I think is incorrect... should have been the other way around...
@robertlafleur51796 ай бұрын
You are right, he made a mistake. LHA is always measured from the observer westward to the celestial body. This shows how easy it is to make errors in celestial navigation. Note: The same problem was brought up a few years ago by @sreedeeppp2739 in the comments section and @SteeringMariners, a true gentleman, apologized for the error. LHA = GHA + Eastern longitude LHA = GHA - Western longitude If the result is negative then add 360°. If the result is larger than 360° then subtract 360°. Always double check your calculations.
