Labels are a straight pain in the butt sometimes...lol I use pendi in the fall also sometimes I also use it in a granular in the spring, this next season I am changing up my program a bit. I carry a box under he seat that has SDS with everything I could possibly be using during the season on me. One tip is if you are using anything with iron do a jar test..I found out the hard way...lol I use teh strainer if I am mixing wetables. You crack me up, great vid.

Fertilizer is easy money! In Oklahoma we go through the same steps for both fertilizer and pesticides but even if you will get this not do fertilizer, it's worth it

I was looking for exact brand of chemicals you used can you show us or send some links or make a video of them. And how much do you charge your customers to apply it ? Do you charge by gallon by sqft ? Im starting and wanted to know how you do it . Thank you 👋🏼

Thabks for your question! Full disclosure, i subcontracted tjis part of my business in 2022. But i primarily used Pendimethyline aqua cap (water base) for preemergent and Triad as a 3-way broadleaf control. These are not the best products on the market but they do well at their price points. I also used sulfentrazone and a few othwr products for spot treatments. Ill need to go look at them and edit this comment but these chemicals were staples in my program. I always charged by the squate foot. The reason is because the chemicals are calculated and mixed according to how many square feet are being applied. You just have to figure our what your cost is per square foot Nd how much you want to profit from that same square foot. Tjis cN be different depending on your region

I personally mix 3oz per gallon of water. I do like the marker dye idea though. Gonna do that this weekend when i spray

If I can be honest I have never used either one of these products. What I can say is the active ingredient is glyphosate and the residual effectiveness would likely be found on the label if it has any residual effect at all. Usually products where glyphosate is the active ingredient, there is a wide range of mixing options to achieve a desired result. Best advice, read the label.

So how many .oz per gallon of ranger on the bagpack sprayer?

I use a 1 gallon per 1000 sq ft dilution for the backpack sprayer and a 2 percent, or 2.56 oz per gallon, mixing ratio. The label will give different ratios depending on the weed you want to control. I am usually trying to control dalligrass at 2 percent.

What class did you take to help you with the pesticide license?

It was through the Oklahoma State University Extension Office. They only do it every so often and it the refresher course for applicators. There is only two guy that coordinate and they are very helpful. If I can help more, then maybe we can do a phone call. Check out this website for specific info pested.okstate.edu/
