I really liked that Dr. Grande explained what the "point" means in calculating percentages using excel - made it much more simple to understand! I also very much enjoyed Dr. Grande's inclusion of different ways to "clean up" or organize the data so that everything is clear and precise.

I'm glad Dr. Grande showed how to get the participant numbers over to the data set. I was wondering how that was going to work all the way through the video. With as many functions that go on in Excel, that's not too surprising, though.

Great video, easy to follow. I've learned how to use the data analysis toolpak to rank the scores' percentiles. It's cool to see what seem like complicated functions used to solve apparently simple problems (like cleaning up the spreadsheet with a participant ID column instead of a point column).

Great video and very informative, it's nice to see it done and not read from the book.

By watching this videos I'm baffled at how many functions excel has that I had no idea about. I think to understand the functions I will need to watch and practice with the video step by step

Intel is very intuitive. It is amazing how much more efficient we work with spreadsheet without having to do that manual calculations and risk errors. This video was very helpful and I too added Data Analysis to my Ribbon.

Great tutorial on excel here. I will probably watch this a few more times. I want to know how to freeze that top row with the titles in it, that made it so much easier to read when scrolling down to the scores towards the bottom.

I agree, this was a really great tutorial and I think I will use it in the future. To freeze the top row, (depending on the version of excel you have because I know sometimes they change the smallest things) in excel 2013, you can go to view and then there is a freeze pane option in the ribbon where you can freeze the top row or the first column. I know that definitely comes in handy from my own experience so I hope that helps :)

Dr. Grande, thank you for sharing this step by step tutorial. I feel like this would be helpful in a real like situation where, for example, I would need to compare myself against the performance others. Perhaps, our cohort could find this useful as we take sample tests in preparation for the NCE. We could see where our scores rank in comparison to others.

Thank you for sharing this video Dr. Grande. I am still a little confused about the point. I didn't know that you could use the $ to calculate items as well.

I found this video to be really cool. Somehow I never knew the $ locks in the auto fill in the function. I always wondered how high schools did the rank for students in the school. Thanks for sharing.
