I wasted 40 years of my life. With dollops of parental alienation it means I’ll never be a grandma either. His psychopathy started showing after I raised the kids. I started noticing once online pornography got good, until then he was a superb actor. Every one said he was jealous but he really just deeply hates women. His psychopathy was definitely nature and nurture.

I hate that the alligators had to pay for this. There should have always been alligator signs, it’s Florida 101.

You butchered the name of the mountain 😂. Also I just found out today you are not a psychiatrist or psychologist. Hmmm. You should make that more clear. You're not qualified to diagnose anyone or analyze any situation.

Disney clearly understood the danger alligators and crocodiles pose. Just look at the depictions of the creatures in Disney's films.

When visiting from, let’s say Alaska….there are no signs “reminding” you about dangers, you are at Disneyland…would you be on high alert?? No, so yes “Disneyland” is at fault for sure. I feel terribly for this family

I've lived in Florida since 1987 and you can literally be standing next ro one and not realize it's there. One crawled up next to my daughter's boyfriend as he was lying on the grass at the park. He didn't noticed it until he stretched and hit the gator with his hand. You never, ever take for granted its safe in Florida when it comes to wildlife. The residents ignore the signs but I don't think thats what happened with Lane's parents. I think they had a false sense of security being in "the happiest place on earth" or whatever that stupid saying is.

My apartment complex (North Florida) had retention ponds near the front entrance. You could always see gators sunning themselves on the banks of these ponds.

The only way to be absolutely safe is to stay away from any state with alligators. I live in Hawaii where there are no land predators. The cost of living is high here and I'd love to move to the Mainland, but I'm scared of bears, mountain lions, and alligators. Better safe than sorry.

How well-researched are the claims about Koresh? The reason I ask is that the feds had a lot of blood and charred bone on their hands after Waco.

This is so so so sad and had to be heartbreaking for that little boy’s family. I watched this while started to eat lunch and had to stop😧 I think Dr G is correct about Disney’s responsibility to either clear their properties of alligators or WARN ppl as well as have the equivalent of lifeguards on duty-nothing to do with swimming-more like security guards trained in life saving measures

Yes, disney bears some responsibility for this incident. Most resident in florida know what "no swimming" signs refer too. The resort didn't want to put up signs that explicitly warn of the danger of snakes/gators, but the average tourist does not have the environmental awareness to be leary of standing water in the state -- a learned behavior that many people who live/are-raised in florida are conditioned to understand. Most glaringly is the idea that there was a faux sand enclosed area referred to as a "beach" on the side of a retention pond (!!?!!??!!). That is flat out crazy (!!). Most people from the state are on high alert anytime they walk near the edge of standing water or ponds. A beach ???????

Disney are catering to tourists from all over the world. You can't expect people from other places to think like Floridians. Disney is absolutely responsible.
@jamese928334 минут бұрын
I disagree with several of Dr. Grande's conclusions. A criminal negligence investigation should have occurred, instead of simply calling it an accident. Disney knew of the danger, but failed to warn guests. It is also unreasonable to assume that everyone knows about the alligator risk in Florida. A family from Nebraska could easily have no concept of wild alligator activity.

What scares me is that men who commit domestic violence watch these psychology videos and try to claim that you're a narcissist or a psychopath if you leave them. What happens when a violent psychopath learns to use psychology against their victims? I see it all the time in men who are narcissists--a tendency to harm a female through physical or psychological violence and then diagnose her publicly with narcissism. It's pretty painful to watch them all pat each other on the back while psychology becomes a tool by which abusers pull off their narcissistic nonsense. Thoughts?

I walk this strip of beach on the lagoon often and I always say a prayer for Lane’s family every time I pass that lighthouse. This was such a tragic loss. There has been so much done to try and prevent it from ever happening again thank goodness but if you are near water in Florida you are mostly likely closer to a gator than you think. I’ve seen a few around the resorts the past few years but each time they were being monitored until they could be moved. Disney is magical but the world can still be a scary place, even there.
