I have a MP 1091 calculator that to convert i need to press 2nd F and press DEC HEX OCT or BIN so this will comvert but the provlem is that the calculator cant display the converted number if its more than 10 digits

Don't click Alpha, just use the letters directly. To be sure, reset the calculator before trying again.

Base 8 mean octal right? You have to click Oct and then put the number and then save it by clicking equal sign ...and after that you can convert it in Dec or hex or bin by clicking the blue option in your calculator.
