On example 4, why did you choose sqrt(x^2+y^2) to be in the squeeze theorem?

sir in example 7 (x^2-Y^2)/(x^2+Y^2) it is clearly given that the limit of the function as (x,y) tends to (0,0) is 0 then why its limit do not exist ??

In example 1 we showed that the limit does not exist. The limit is not 0.
