error at 4:42. Should have said parallel to plane

thanks for pointing that out

No there error was throughout the video. At 4:42 he said the right thing.... right?

We are covering a lot of topics. Eventually we will get them all done.

So does the 12 affect anything on the second vector?
@MichelvanBiezen Жыл бұрын
It is part of the equation of the line. If that number was a different number you would have a different line and a different equation.

Your lecture ends with the statement that “since the dot product is not zero, the line is not perpendicular to the plane”. Did you mean to say that the line is not parallel to the plane?
@MichelvanBiezen5 жыл бұрын
yes, indeed
@Quasifinance2 жыл бұрын
@Michel van Biezen no you're both wrong. If not zero then not perpindicular. He was wrong throughout the video up till that point. Dot product = 0 for orthogonal.

So angle between this line and plane?
@MichelvanBiezen Жыл бұрын
To find the angle set AB cos(theta) = AxBx + AyBy + AzBz and solve for the inverse cosine.
