Exciting release! You don't see many high-end closed planars. Speaking of the Caldera pads they are indeed very comfortable and they sit very nicely around the ears with a good amount of space.

coming from LCD-5 that I feel is missing Bottom and punch what should I get? Caldera open or closed. Maybe Atrium closed or open. Then what pads and cables? I love the 5's but end up using clear MG's or MM-500's. I also use Stellia's but not as much. Something about the 5's I just love but are a little weak in the bass.

Caldera Closed definitely has a more present measuring bass, but either caldera will be pretty natural and punchy sounding. Atrium closed has the most bass and forward kids for a very fun headphone as well. I think all our models slam pretty well and are still resolving and natural.
