I complained bitterly that for weeks on this fire not one newscaster was talking about the plight of the poor wild animals and the cattle , horses and pets. I I hope someone has a sense after the spire to leave water out for the deer in the other animals and also large corrugated sources of water because the animals who have nothing to eat nothing to drink as a have to go through a dry brought out wasteland I also feel for any animals that died in the spire be there wild or domesticated it’s so sad because we always concentrate on property in people and no one mentions to poor animals this is their home too.

Funny I saw this. By the Dixie fire here and big black bear lounging on front lawn. Stood up on hind legs dog went nuts ( behind gate) big kid left slowly. Unfortunately our neighbors are stupid and have garbage out all the time!

Thanks for your report. I wonder about this. I know it's not good to feed them normally, but these fires are not normal. Their normal habitat has been decimated. I was wondering about how impacted their food supply and water are. Is there anything left for them to eat? - Especially as we are entering that time of year when the bears need to eat more for the winter. I've been wondering about the possibility of setting up special stations to relieve stressed out areas where the animals could at least find some temporary relief for food and water. May or may not be prudent, I don't know, but it certainly makes sense that many animals could use a helping hand right now because of so much decimated habitat.

It only takes a short time for Mother Nature to take back what is hers if we just cease or slow down activity. Respect nature don’t feed them. Don’t want animals associating food with humans because they could be more aggressive right off the bat then. Don’t let your ego of wanting to help lead to bad decisions through good intentions ✌🏽

The wildlife live there it's their home they're stressed out and hungry ! In Arizona they put out water trough and some kinds of foods like vegetables and fruits for the animals to have when stuff like this happens !
