What a rich, mature and insightful conversation that cuts right to the heart of the matter - with the only sword we should ever use, that beautiful two edged sword that divides and lays bare that which should be revealed.

I am so excited to be involved in bringing unity into that particular sphere. It is not whi I like or what I like, but what is Father God doing or saying and how can I partner with Him!!!

So timely... God has just helped me reconnect with my brother through his wife's health issues. He's in the CN camp. This is exactly what Trinity wanted me to hear today! Thanks so much 🙏😎❤️

So good! Holy Spirit said to me a few years ago not to get unto a political spirit or a religious spirit. He said they release fear, anger and division! He also said that we would face the same spirits - political and religious - that came against Jesus!

Crackity Barrel makes some really good pancakes. Their coffee is good, too. Does that qualify me as a Christian Nationalist? 🤔

I, too, enjoy the Barrel - I think we're OK haha.

What would one party have to say or do before you would justifiably denounce what they've done?

Yes, you’re right, you shouldn’t be talking about Christian Nationalism because I honestly don’t think Jesus is talking about it. Jesus feels the pain of Americans who now have to make a choice between mortgage and groceries, and yes, a very controversial election is part of the reason for that. If we are going to talk “Christian Nationalism”, we should also talk the pharisaicalness of mainstream progressive Christianity. I’ve been going through a thorough deconstruction of my faith and loving my newfound, maybe more ancient orthodox faith in God, especially in the incarnation and the hope for the restoration of all things for about 8-9 years. But since I have different views than progressives on the issue of election integrity in 2020, the pedophile problem that does exist in elite culture (church and non), J6 being every bit as legit a Heartcry as any other protest, and I hate the way we are bled dry by inflation and our tax code; I would be labeled Christian nationalist, which would instantly disqualify me from real conversation with someone. I truly think we need to stop talking about “Christian nationalism”, and “progressive Christianity” because it implies Jesus chose a side, when in reality he bleeds with all people. I hope you know I post this with a somber heart.

By your definition, I am also a Christian Nationalist :) I imagine we would agree on way more than we disagree on when it comes to politics. Regardless, labels are often made in order to dismiss... This conversation is about grace, it's about engaging with brothers and sisters regardless of how we identify politically, regardless of how we have been labeled. The term is what it is, we can't change that. But we can embrace our brothers and sisters and through loving well, expose the dualistic politicizing, moralizing manipulations.

@@JasonClarkIS-youtube thank you for your gracious response. But yes, the term can be changed, just like other things get changed over time

@@jhayes1189 Terms change all the time. I wasn't referencing the progression of time; I was acknowledging the reality that the term exists today, and we are endeavoring to engage in the moment we live in with grace. - blessings!
