100% CORRECT!!! A lot of people don't get that, by the time a man says he SAD he's already broken down that exterior armor (which is hard as hell) to allow those feelings out, hes broken or breaking down
@fixthat3269
@fixthat3269 8 ай бұрын
@@mattolson8172 I have severe depression, I am a man, and I have to be honest I see no benefit in neglecting my emotions for other people. You wear this heavy armor just for an arrow to get through the littlest holes, and people aim for you because they see the shining armor, just to work off your analogy anyways. Another words, for anyone who isn't following, it's exhausting and you get hurt anyways - portraying yourself with armor means you guard what you feel so people forget to consider your emotions, you hide and guard them just for someone to forget you're human and strike a nerve - or some asshole with a point to prove - most of the time you get hurt by people you love though and I can assure you if they're worth keeping close then they'll want to know how you feel. I know it's kind of a social standard but it's stupid as hell, I'm not going to conform and confirm something I fundamentally disagree with. If it actually benefits you, great, keep doing you. I never seen a benefit. I'm not doing it. I don't think people should. It is a choice - if it's not that's an even deeper rooted issue.
