The Chicago Bears can't seem to get out of their own way. They are stuck in a cycle of doom, and it seems Caleb Williams is their next victim in the making.

Former Bears OC Getsy is now OC for the Raiders & didn’t want Fields. That’s telling. Maybe Getsy can only be successful with an Aaron Rodgers type or maybe Fields can’t run a West Coast based offense. For one reason or another Fields wasn’t good. We just have to wait & see how CW will do.

You're a good one. I appreciate you. I'm happy to see a decent number of people like the video! Honestly finding good b-roll and putting it with the sound seems to be the hardest part in my opinion. Thanks for watching!!

Wut? Eberfluss is Poles guy. He’s got runway.

No kiddin'. This was revealed after Fields called out his coaches publicly after week 7 of '22. Remember what the team's owner, Eberflus & Poles all said about this? Nothin'. I mean the QB comes out & says "my Own Coaches are confusing me & I don't know what they want from me." Can you imagine Justin _Herbert_ saying this & ownership not demanding to know which coaches were taking his $ to stab him in the back like that? What Eberflus' own silence could only mean was that He Didn't Care About this or was doing it. What Poles' silence meant was that He Knew. Because 1) he _hired 'Flus above more qualified candidates. & 2) If he, Poles trades Fields & it turns out to be a mistake, this would haunt him his entire career. Possibly end it. So that fact that Both Stayed Silent showed that they were determined to move on from Fields No Matter What From The Outset. & this is _why_ Poles hired *him* in front of others. He was the only one to agree to it. I can't believe I have to say this to anyone. It's just the psychology of fans I guess. This implies that a team's staff knowingly sabotaged a player. Well? Look at the 1st 23 minutes of kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJrMfGVni998ldE & tell me have you Ever Seen an o-line play worse? Listen to the narrator too. He says that he's not gonna show Every Instance of it but each sabotage happens Multiple Times. Anyone think A _single_ o-line player can do this *once* on any other team & not be benched? Even Evan Neal gets his hands _on_ pass-rushers, at least tries. The Bears' HC & GM told us they were determined to move on from Fields No Mater What. Then the HC called plays designed to undermine Fields' credibility as a capable QB & injure him. Yes, injure him. If that's Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady back there, they'd be injured before the half was over. When I first started watching in '22 I actually thought that there was an illegal underground betting pool where NFL staff put bets on how many sacks or when a QB was gonna be injured. Then Fields finally called them out & they refused to even speak to or about him. Yeah: 'Flus' job Is Secure.

Unfortunately that doesn't always mean anything. Sure he's his guy for now, but you know how the NFL works...

Lots of differences from the previous times that were left out justin and mitch were supposed to sit and had mechanical issues and caleb is stepping into a much better situation than the other 2 and there is this misconception that flus has only one year when insider sources say they Don't expect playoffs year one and expect to win now next year this year is focused on getting caleb assimilated to the nfl

Well, someone spliced Caleb's college highlights with Fields' & what do you know? Fields is a much more accurate passer as well as better rusher kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3uyYoOpqtV5lbc. So that answers that. I don't understand why anyone thinks that's the issue though. The play-calling changed twice. Weeks 8-10 in '22 & weeks 11, then 14-17 in '23. Fields proved he could elevate the pre-D.J. Moore Bears to scoring more than All The Other Teams including ones with Tyree, Mahomes, WR trios & Allen/Diggs. The problem is that You The Fans didn't want to believe this. So this was dismissed as a fluke. & now, at the cost of trading for a future 4th-rounder at best, you've also downgraded at QB. Hooray!

Since you "self-promoted" about how you wish you had enough subscribers, please read this as Constructive Criticism. I used to coach, I used to train. But it _is_ criticism. Even without my additional history & analysis comments that add to the story you're telling here being ignored, you're trying to tell us that Just Switching OCs has a good chance of ruining a QB. Okay. You may be right. Then _include examples of_ how just being or having a new play-caller does this. I suggest using the Geno Smith '22 & Baker Mayfield '23 seasons where despite being new, Dave Canales is credited with *improving* QB play. _See_ what I mean? If you want *us* to take you seriously, you're gonna have to take *yourself* seriously when it comes to Your Content. & silly shallow narratives like this that can be shattered completely by one easy example ain't gonna cut it. Decide if you want fluff or analysis, then proceed. & if you ask, I'll gladly delete this. It's for you to think about or ignore. I have no $ riding on this either way.

@@UsefulPreconceivedNotions I appreciate the advice and critique. This is all new to me so I understand it might be a bit choppy at first. This was more of just an opinion/taking notice of a trend going on with the bears. This video was more just pointing how a new QB continues to come in whenever a coach is on the hot seat. Wasn't really trying to predict anything beyond my scope as a random scrub lol Whether Williams succeeds or not, nothing I or anyone else says holds any bearing (no pun intended) on his NFL trajectory. I appreciate your viewpoint! This is all still a work in progress for me.
