Caleb Williams GOES OFF In Day 2 of Rookie Camp, Rome Odunze INJURY UPDATE. Bears Highlights

The Chicago Bears had another strong day today during Day 2 of Rookie Mini Camp where future QB Caleb Williams put on another show for the coaches and reporters, making another day of pure highlight reels.
The Chicago Bears did report on Rome Odunze having an hamstring injury which sidelined him till further notice, but nothing to worry about for The Chicago Bears.
Bears also signed Punter Tory Taylor to his rookie contract, the first drafted rookie to get a deal done.

Favorite BEAR is Mr. Walter Payton. Sweetness was a great player, teammate and consumate professional. Talk about gritty, getting the tough yards and always played with a chip on his shoulder. Amazing athlete. I also met him at the Chicago Auto Show when he was a Buick sponsor. What a great man, person and RB he was. 34!! BEAR DOWN.

Walter Payton is probably on every Bears' enthusiasts list of top 3 list. The most underrated player is probably DT Akiem Hicks. He was the key player for the Bears in 2018, not Khalil Mack. If Akiem played for the 1985 Bears, he would have been a dominant player.

My favorite Bear is Jerry Muckensturm. He played for the Bears at outside linebacker from 1976 to 1983, graduated from Arkansas State. He was my Uncle Johnny's next door neighbor in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and spoke at his funeral last month with me, where I met him. We discussed how he was on the team the 1979 Bears Wild Card team that had to pummel the Cardinals to get in, and shut down OJ Anderson in order for Walter Payton to win the rushing title I really want that jersey. Great shows! I'll mention and wear that jersey on the Cubbears Fan Report.

Sounds like a good day 2. Hope Odunze heals up quickly. Favorite player, #34 best all round RB ever, Walter Sweetness Payton. What a joy it was to watch him run, punish those who dared to try to tackle him, deliver devastating blocks in the backfield, catch a pass and turn it upfield and was the consumate professional! Second favorite is Urlacher. While Samurai Singletary was fantastic, I had never seen a linebacker do what Urlacher did with great speed. I was watching the Arizona game when he took over in the 4th quarter. He was everywhere! Amazing performance. And even being the star he was, he was out there on kickoffs to help block and spring Hester. I have jerseys for both of them. I am hoping Williams, Odunze and other Bears will be among those greats in the HOF at the end of their careers. I have been a Bears Fan for almost 59 years. '85 was a special team. I am hoping we build that kind of team again. Da Bears!! Bear Down!!

No one was sweeter than "Sweetness" Walter Payton, as my favorite player! The way he would "high-step" like an elusive cat and freeze opponents, "stiff-arm" defenders while punishing them before going out bounds, and catapulting over the defense line like a gymnast from the 5-yard line was a sight to behold. Back then, it didn't matter if the Bears won or not but to see Payton run was absolutely magical. Even more impressive was his humbleness, as he was any extremely class-act on and off the field.

Favorite player ever is Gale Sayers. Biggest disappointment ever was his knee injury by Alexander of SF after only 3 years of playing. He gained 1000 yd season in 69, but he was never the same. The fact he’s in HOF is a testament to how great he was with such a short career.
