Caleb Williams, in his Post-Game interview said that he watches Aaron Rogers, He then apologizes for saying his name , with fear in his eyes, during this interview . . . But he stated he watched and watches Rogers and the way he threw/throws and operates his form in motion or in the pocket. He also said that he uses his that with his own playstyle. So he is the "evolution" of the NFL QB to come in and be ready for the fast-lane of the NFL. Besides that, already living off "baby millions" from college.

I am so afraid of how much they will trash this kid when he faces adversity. This season will be a rough learning experience especially when season starts and teams start game planning for him. Hope the coordinators can adjust better than the last season cos in FLUS I do not trust

I hope Flus doesnt do the offensive gameplanning lmao. Leave it to Waldron pls 🙏🏼

In the first quarter, the Bears had three possessions, no first downs and 8 total net yards. After Cincy removed their starters the Bears got...17 yards. His "impressive final series" was literally backups and 3rd stringers. Williams has the physical tools to be great but if I'm Mahomes I'm insulted --- the Bears have had "make 1 or 2 big plays after half a game of mess" QBs for the past 20 years. I get people have hyped him up and feel a need to continue that hype BUT at some point I would like to see him show an ability to be a consistent NFL QB, moreso than, wow, he rolled out and threw the ball on an amazing play, once. I've seen that before from every starting Bears QB for the past 20 years

hang on now.. No one is more Mahomes than Mahomes was 1st starting season

Just stop. I'm a lifelong Bears fan. Do you realize how many times I've heard this same bs hype about Bears QB's. Do or don't do, don't hype what you think will happen.

ummmm Second team Defense 3 and out... 3 and out... 3 and out???? Yeah that's what that score was HAHAHAH Bears couldn't do much against the second team defense LOL in fact they didn't even score until the 3rd and 4th stringers came into the game LMAO... Dude didn't even throw a touchdown and everyone is going nuts... HAHAHAH Its funny seeing an ALMOST touchdown on NFL network channel HAHAHAH funny... Try first team defense... They are a LOT Better :) Oh let me tell ya if Burrow did that bad against a second team defense, he and the Bengals wouldn't hear the end of it !!!!!...Headlines would read Burrow and the Bengals in BIG BIG Trouble!!!!!!! You might want to raise your standards on Qb's man... If he can play better in the season then we will talk.... It was just his second outing so good luck... I just thought it was funny how much praise he has been getting for nothing... They would hammer Burrow until the end Let me tell ya if we did that bad against a 2nd string defense at any time in the preseason or season....

lol bit early isnt it? Bears fans already think Canton needs to get the gold jacket ready for Caleb. hilarious. you either figure it out, or get figured out. Caleb isnt even at the get figured out phase yet. lol.

@@jamesbickle4912 thats great, but ive seen 100s in comment sections glazing Caleb already. especially after the week 1 preseason game. you and you friends have common sense. gratz. not a Bears hater btw, could care less. what gets me is overreactions.

"The next coming of Patrick Mahomes..." We hear this nearly every season now and it'll never be true, Mahomes is a one of one. Also he watched Rodgers growing up and it was his game he wanted to emulate, not Mahomes. I know it feels like Mahomes has been around forever but he's only 28, just 6 years older than Williams.
@stephenjablonski3261Ай бұрын
It seems like all the hyped quarterbacks are mediocre at best. Baker Mayfield and Trevor Lawrence both had major hype, and their not that great.even Josh fallen struggled early. Patrick Mahomes didn't get a lot of hype till he actually started playing in the regular season,and he is awesome. Just my thoughts...
@jonXler2 ай бұрын
People keep saying its the Mahomes influence when Caleb himself says it was Rodgers. But ok
@razkable2 ай бұрын
Caleb plays and is dumb like rodgers so that fits...he won't ever win or be mahomes so
@RobertRagland-bj6wz2 ай бұрын
Great he's made a few plays...But let's not forget something here.. Keep an eye on him getting sacked and not getting rid of the ball so he don't get sacked.. . Why ? So 2 years ago he was sacked 30 ..yes 30 times...So in off-season they went to work on that and ? Well the next year he was sacked 33 times...Not to mention he was up in the stands crying as his mom held onto him after a college loss...We will see..But bears fans already sold he is tge guy that their savior.. Good luck..Good Luck

Luckman? lol Mike likes to erase the entire 1980s bears from existence. It was a bad time for him and his Vikings.
