Actually, in reality, Harrison is wrong about fans being disrespectful for believing the games are fixed. Does he know that there have been officials in sports especially basketball that have served time for betting on and fixing games? He should do his research before insulting the fans who are highly educated and very knowledgeable about football. And allowing gambling only reinforces that the likely ofthe likelihood that fixing games is extremely high.

48.5 was the over/under. Look at the total score before that play. Then look at the total score AFTER that play. TIGHT margin!

It should be reviewable. The Lions got screwed a few years ago against the Packers when they called a phantom facemask penalty that allowed Rodgers to throw a hail mary on an untimed down (Lions still gotta defend better). Can't fault the refs for not throwing a flag on the Rams player if they didn't actually see it. Replay review would fix this.

The CFL allows reviews within it's three minute warning through a flag challenge or at anytime during the game. Including whether or not an infraction on roughing the passer or kicker has occurred. The CFL does it better in the interest of fairness than the Industry cabal known as the NFL

Yep. Vikes were up 14-7 and Rams failed to convert a 3rd down and were going to have to punt. An all too convenient defensive holding was called against the Vikes that was not even close to being a foul, 5 yds and automatic 1st down. Rams keep the ball and drive down to tie the game. I liked the Spring League method of challenges. Each coach has one challenge but, there is no limit to what type play can be reviewed. Generally, the Spring League football also seems to have a better system booth reviews. These games are much smoother. Waiting endless periods for an on field official to look into a tiny screen doesn't seem to be the most efficient practice - it breaks the continuity of the game.

The Chargers vs Cards unnecessary roughness call was not unnecessary roughness. The Texas vs Georgia one yard Georgia TD short WAS 100% a TD. We all saw it on replay. The NFL just had a contradiction in their rules exposed. A safety is a scoring play. All scoring plays are reviewable. But, penalities can't be called through review, supposedly. Those two cannot logically exist together without significant cognitive dissonance. Another similar scenario. What about a kickoff that a player picks up with his heal on the sideline. He returns it for a touchdown. No flag thrown. Review shows him on the sideline. Ergo the ball is out of bounds. This requires a flag to be dropped on the kicking team. Players do this on purpose if a ball is near the sidelines on a kickoff to get the free start at the 40. This would be a penality called via review, so I don't buy you can't call penalities on review. This contradiction needs to be fixed.

The NFL has/is and most likely will remain a reactionary entity. To think the amount of money that league generates and the seemingly unwillingness to pre-plan for any possibilities such as this is simply moronic. Sooo, if there's an OPI that's missed for any other potential reason similar to "I couldn't see it because of players in the way, I was knocked down, etc..., and the offending WR catches a TD pass, by association, that's not reviewable, either... Just putting that out there because review of PI was added in 2019 and removed in 2020...without consideration that it might end up being a TD. The times you consider it will never happen is when it always will.
