But the thing that kills Colin’s argument is that Lamar dominates teams in his division as well and they see him the most. I really feel like a lot of people underestimate him. No other player in the game can switch up their play style more than Lamar. Lamar has thrown for 300 yards and ran for 100 yards in the same game. Who has been able to do that? Lamar is a two time MVP just like Mahomes. Mahomes had better coaching on offense and has had better weapons at his disposal. Has Lamar performed his best in the playoffs? Not always, but it’s only a matter of time before it all clicks in the playoffs.
@matxivАй бұрын
He's 17-10 in his division, which has the Steelers QB carousel and only one year with a healthy Burrow and a decent Cleveland defense that can't score points for their woeful offense. Mahomes is 30-5 against a similar strength in division. THAT is dominance.

Falcons fan from Ga. Watched Vicks whole career. When Vick played, lineman and line backers were not nearly as fast as they are now. That makes him appear much faster than Lamar because the league wasnt ready yet. In reality its so close id call it a tie as far as speed, however Vick had better vision he had defenders running into each for God's sake lol. Also he leaned into his running ability where as lamar has been having to convice people he's a great passer.(They did try to get him to switch to wr 😂.) Vick admited he would dip from the pocket early sometimes, where as Lamar will stay too long waiting for anyone to get open and get sacked. There will never be another Vick because his atheleticism as a QB was so far ahead of the competition. Now adays there are multiple limeman and line backers who can run a 4.4-4.6 40 yard dash. Just my 2 cents 😂.

Caleb Williams is going to be interesting. A lot of hype around him. Cowherd almost putting his sports journalistic credibility on the line with how he's hyped Williams in the past! I almost feel for Williams a bit. A lot of pressure on him. Not a lot of room to struggle without there going to be a lot of criticism because people think Chicago has a "playoff roster". A normal #1 pick there would be a little more leeway with, and less expectations than Williams is getting. A few things I'd be concerned about with Williams. Can he run the Offense normally consistently for sustained drives. Those magical plays he makes with his legs and intuition, will they turn in to turnovers in the NFL more than in college? Finally, did he win big games in college, bring his team back in the 4th Quarter, or for winning scores? I don't know honestly...I guess I'm wondering is he a QB that can win the high pressure games late in the season, or in the playoffs? We will see. Williams doesn't strike me as a Mahomes, Burrow, Brady, Manning, even Stroud type of leader. Not saying he has to be...but I think he is going to be a guy that needs to build confidence, and for his coaching staff and team around him to lift him up a bit especially early in his career.

Josh McDaniel drew up the plays to beat the rams, not Belichek. Tom Coughlin didn’t draw up the pass to manningham or Tyree. Actually dumb luck the giants win the first Super Bowl when Asante Samuel let a sure interception go through his fingers. Belichek beat the Falcons but he didn’t draw up the plays. Rothlisberger was a great passer under Tomlin. Ravens coach is a special teams guy.
