I agree with you to be fair. I’ve been saying it for a while now. Let’s say a QB gets his team off to an early lead. His defence is managing to hold the opposing offence to zero. The gameplan changes. He doesn’t have to take risks pushing the ball far downfield. Running out the clock etc etc takes priority. Securing the win. On the other hand there’s a QB who’s engaged in a shootout and had to throw for 4 touchdowns to get the win. Let’s say that happens every game in the season. The QB with more td’s isn’t necessarily better than the one with less. However people will talk about this QB had this many, the other ran for that many etc etc It matters. Only to an extent. Context matters more. Football is situational more times than not.

I swear KC fans have no idea how good they have it with Reid as a HC, as soon as they hired him (and before Mahomes) he had them averaging 10-12 wins a season with an average quarterback! Go ask Philadelphia how he turned Mike Vick (who could barely complete half his passes) into a Pro Bowl passer who completed 60+% of his passes. Heck, Andy Reid led the Eagles to 5 NFC Championship games (and 1 Super Bowl) with Donovan McNabb as his QB. That same McNabb that folded faster than a cheap suit when he left the Eagles. These fans clearly can't see or acknowledge that they have the best offensive coach in NFL history (and top-5 all time) with an All-time QB, oh and top-5 all time defensive coach. the answer is literally everyone lol, but if one person its Josh Allen but its never going to happen with McDermott as coach, Allen plays good every year in the playoffs but McDermott is always out coached and out classed by Andy Reid and the one game against Zac Taylor, the Bills defense always gets torched in zone coverage in the playoffs since like 2017 and they never once changed the scheme and get picked apart by the elite offensive coaches every playoffs. they wasted a lot of years of solid vets until injuries derailed them the last 2 seasons
