I think Caleb and Jonathan did a really good job on this. I think they made for a really good contrast. Caleb felt very jovial and lighter, almost like he "accepted" things and even enjoyed the release of just screaming. Where as Jonathan was more dark and angry in his vocals. Like some one who was struggling and lashing out because of this other side to him. Very good stuff please keep it up!

I'ma level with you here. I love both you and Jonathan; you guys are amazing. I love Skillet too. They're actually the small bit of Christian I had left while I was going through a depression phase of my life. If not for them, I may not be here right now. So to see both of my favorite KZbin cover artists perform the first song I heard from the band that gave me new life, that's incredibly meaningful to me. I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, but at least it's out there. Keep up the amazing work, and hope to see a lot more collaborations in the future

I saw Skillet in concert last Saturday, and I have to say, they were bad@$$! I'd argue that they're better live for the most part. The instruments had a more heavy metal sound to them, and they added in some pretty nice solo extensions in some of the songs. The only thing that I didn't find better was the dude singer's voice. It was more high-pitched than I thought that it would be. However, considering that they've been doing this for 22 years, I shouldn't be surprised. As for this cover, it was pretty bad@$$ as well. I'd say keep it up, Caleb.

I was in 6th grade when I was first told about Skillet. At that time, I was crazy about Black Sabbath and thinking that they were HEAVY. I was a virgin to METAL when hearing Monster for the first time so, I think you could imagine how I had felt hearing it for the first time. I saw them two years ago at Winterjam (Athiest and dragged to church but church youth group fund paid so... FREE CONCERT) and they were better than I had expected

I absolutely love this, but *oh the cringe I have-* just because I was one of those kids who (tried) to go through an emo phase... I mean I didn't succeed very well but hey. When I was younger I wasn't allowed to listen to anything that wasn't christian worship, 80's Jams, 70's funk etc, or Disney songs (yes that included the disney radio shit). This song was the discovery of my....... *ugh I can't even type it* "dark turn". Fuck, it's been some years since I actually listened to it. Great job dude, even if it brought up memories that needed to stay in the basement of my mind, hidden in a shoebox, ducttaped, under the floorboards. Edit: You know what, I've had a minute or a hundred to reflect, I actually really like this song still. I spent the rest of the day listening to Skillet and other Christian artists I've listened to over the years and, obviously, I carried on.
