It is indeed ironic. I don't know why. Anyhow, it is a wonderful performance. 確かに皮肉ですね。なぜなのでしょう。でも、力一杯で素敵な歌唱でした。
@LordangeloxD3 жыл бұрын
@@林智良-w4z There is a good reason for it, the first Devil man anime came in the 70's, but they change the original source. Instead of the sad story from the manga, they choose the American super hero genre, making him fight a monster every week, his attacks where translate to English to sound awesome. The first Devilman anime is an American superhero inspiration.
@林智良-w4z3 жыл бұрын
@@LordangeloxD Thank you for your minute descriptions. My doubts were settled. So, this anime acquired a new tone and attracted many fans in the U.S.A. It is very fine and your comments clarify the difference of the performance between Mr. Hyles' one and the original one. Only a handful fans in Japan may know the version in the U.S.A. Thank you again.

Did you watch the anime? Devilman Crybaby is Netflix’s horniest, most shockingly violent show yet.
@aidangough92934 жыл бұрын
The songs lyrics are from the original Devilman from 1972, where Devilman was more of a superhero type of character. That's why the lyrics don't talk about how in the new anime he literally rips people to shreds

@@aidangough9293 The manga is violent from the start to finish, just like all mangas from the 70s. The stuff we see in today's manga can't compare to the thing in the past. A lot of the old stuff incorporate stuff that are very controversial and inappropriate. Just check out rapeman. An old mabga

Davi Long If you like Devilman but the netflix version is a lil too rough, read some of the original manga. It's still rough, but less, and I find there are more wacky antics sprinkled in which help lessen some of the super crazy stuff. It's actually releasing in book form later this year!
@williehaller5840 Жыл бұрын
It is rough isn't it?! It's crazy how gross TV has gotten. I've always liked the violence but found the sex gross. Get back to the slaughter already.
The lyrics are hilariously awkward in English. But you sound fantastic and I adore your cover. I have both this version and the Japanese one and listen to them pretty interchangeably.
