I haven't heard this album in more than 40 years, and I still remember all of the stories. I wore it out playing it constantly, even though it scared the hell out of me lol.

The Headless Horseman, The hitchhiker, and the Misers Gold were available as records on HoneyComb boxes. Record grooves were etched on thin plastic glued to the box cardboard. You had to cut them out and punch a hole in the center. This brings back memories of being a kid

Something to live up your dreams, as it were. I've grown used to listening to Horror Stories from the Nightfall Series to go to sleep by. Have you ever heard of the Nightfall Series? They're great! This particular series is from Canada, and were put out from 1980-1983. There are nearly 100 stories to choose from. The very first one I ever listened to was called "The Book of Hell". It's the story of a man by the name of A. J. Inousky, a man that used to be a Liberal Hippie from the Haight-Ashbury District, who once told a young lady:"Someday, I'm going to write The Book of Hell"...& worked on it for the rest of his life, dying in the arms of his Wife, a very beautiful Mexican Lady that only wanted peace for herself. You'll have to listen to the story to find out what transpires. It's a very..."Combustible" story, to say the least! Other stories in the Nightfall Series include:Love and the lonely one, Deadly Developments, After Sunset, Where do we go from here, The Dentist, The Old Post Road, The Wedding, and many other frightfully designed Horror masterpieces to grab your ears, make your spine tingle, and to quicken your heartbeat. Have fun! And, one other thing:"Try to stay scared"!!!!!

Did anyone have a boxed set of books/stories on audio cassette tapes by Jabberwocky? They came out around 1979 and the most sought-after tape set is The Lord of the Rings, but there was another set with Sherlock Holmes & the Hound of the Baskervilles, as well as the *best* audio performance of Henry James' "The Turn of the Screw" I've ever heard (I'm 51 now). The performances were extremely well-done, and I'd love for these Jabberwocky stories to be preserved
