Hi Caleb, I always enjoy watching your video blogs. I to have quite a few of Dooney & Bourke bags. Including the all weather bags. My very first contemporary designer bag was Dooney & Bourke. I have that Dooney and bourke hand bag at the end of this video. I bought it in 1989 it cost me 500 then and in today's market would have been into the thousands equivalent. I've had it still have it and it's vintage . I don't use it but still love that type dooney quality.

I have several awl pieces I almost never wear but I don’t dare part with them because I have some awl-culling regrets. Some of my faves: brown & cedar buckle satchel, Teton drawstring in ivy, navy & cedar, navy & bt camera bag, and a black & bt Equestrian. I have others but those are what I am most apt to carry. Fall tends to be awl season for me.

Vintage DB is FABULOUS!!! My Essex was in the forest green it was stolen along with my bucket bag in bone, both bags were bought in 1996 (stolen with other bags in 2011) they were my favorite, I wish I still had them. Fun fact....funny now that both those bags retailed for more than my Speedy 30 at that time too. Great collection you have : )

Hi Caleb. I love your DB collection. I’ve been a fan of the DB since I was in high school back in the 90’s. My mother has several DB bags that I bought for her over the years but I never purchased any for myself, until this past Christmas. I have two AWL bags (the Duck Bag and the AWL 3.0 Camera Crossbody 20). Is the new AWL any good? I’ve not carried either one of them yet but I will now that the weather’s getting warmer. I would love any feedback on the new AWL.

I personally can not compare the two. Never had a Birkin. But my experience over the last 5 months and grew up stalking the db catalogs my mom and sister used to get. The appeal of the early 2000s and my first 3 bags as of October 2023. BaBy .......Dooney is DOIN' IT!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤IM GETTING OBSESSED. I gotta chill😊 My penrose hobo 25, Denison hobo with the bumpers and the matching wallets and my awl 3.0. Satchel, 3 key chains, i spent less on all that compared to coach and coach outlet over the last two years. The quality, the looks, the compliments, THE AWE❤❤❤❤❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Gorgeous bags! I don't own any D&B. As far as I know, they don't have a retail outlet here, nor do they have a presence in the surviving department stores. Sigh! Lovely pieces, I may bet one one day. I don't think they are 'better' than a Birkin, but they are nice in their own way and much, much cheaper! Thank you for the video!

I have an IT problem lol! It was my MC that I could afford back in college, and I still love collecting it! After losing all my bags in a house fire which included Dooneys from 1975 on, I bought a lot of original Dooneys again maybe 20-25 years ago. I need to get them out and do a video! I don’t know why my IT big zipper pouch got so hazy. It’s been in my drawer since I bought it at Macy’s many years ago. It’s such a flat pouch, I could never figure out what to use it for. I was captivated by the multi colored zipper, actually.

I order a duck bag from the Dooney website. The interior suppose to be like a light pink interior that’s what it shows on the video and on the website. The bag I received has a red interior which is I believe maybe an older model. I also order a crossbody bag a month ago and the stitching on the strap are off. The told me they will repaired but I have to paid for the shipping. I don’t know what’s going on with their quality control.
