I understand u and teacher objects have exactly same value at the same address. At 2:08 does copy constructor get called?

I think the copy constructor does not get called, since you only have one object (a User that is also a Teacher). When you create a new reference to the Teacher object, you don't create any additional objects.

I would agree with you if this was the only video where he used the user/student/teacher example. However, I think he was building up to this point over the last few videos, and so I think it makes the most sense to keep using the same example here.
