We didn't get to say when they decided to change all of the designs of the homes here, because they did it in order to save money and time. There was no real reason or other need for the change. No. Most Japanese homes are simply not built to last. They prefer to build instead of buying a second hand home. Homes there tend to depreciate becoming nearly valueless after 20-30 years after being built.
