Hi Christy lynn! I was visiting a woman in her mid nineties at a seniors facility yesterday who was feeling very down and discouraged. When I played this video of you singing and playing on the harp she became completely transformed, smiling and singing along with you. When it was finished she said, " That beautiful young woman gives me hope for all the young people of the world. " wow! ❤

I'm privileged to have heard you sing this song 3 times recently. I love your voice and your harp playing. I guess everyone has a Caledonia that calls, a fond memory, a lost love, a longing for home, a plane ticket in the pocket, a spring in the step .... Thank you for sharing this beautiful song with us.

Christy-Lyn, Thank you so much for another perfect performance! But, if you ever get the time to do so you need to rerecord it again when your hair is red again and thanks for giving the history of this song too! Thank you, Dan S.

Yes it’s such a beautiful song 😍 Thanks! Ja my hair had blonde highlights, quite different. It was long hey! Getting close to that now, but I need to cut it because it’s not the healthiest it could be.

This piece really grows on you fast. Atleast it did on me. :) At first i thought it could have been something in a disney movie but i now think its better than that. Like a tune to hear while you're watching a railroad nature program (dont know what they are called, you used to have them on tv sometimes where you'd just see the farsights from point A to B on a traintrack.) Very calming and sweet.

This is so beautiful - thank you for making this and for all of the wonderful videos on your channel. I’m a new harpist and am learning so much from you! I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of months now, but this one popped up today as recommended; I just moved yesterday and it’s been soothing for me to hear...

Learning the Harp with Christy-Lyn! Thank you so much for sharing that! I didn’t realize it was available. I also need to check whether you’re still doing them, but I believe you offer online harp lessons, which is something I’d like to at least do occasionally to get a good foundation. Once we get a little more settled, I’ll follow up on that!

Hi Carina. I'm glad you like the song! One of my favourites :) My left hand is playing the bass note of the chord (eg. Eb), and my right hand is playing the other three notes of the chord (eg. G, Bb, Eb). Hope that helps!
