Such a fun video Patti. Yes I too played with original colorforms but I was only 3 years old by 1960 snd so it was more like the 60's when I truly rnjoyed playing with them. Wasn't the backing black where the colorm forms stuck to?. How I'd lovebto create a journal with some of my memories from chilhood. You've inspired me to do just that. I have some trolls from the 60's but if I recall right we called them wish niks. Oh the simple ways to play back then. Paper dolls were very common. When us kids were sick, which mind you there are 8 of us, Mom would go to the 5 and dime store and pick up coloring books snd crayons. How happy I was to be able to sit on my top bunk bed coloring while sick. Oh Patti, you are a gem and I absolutely love watching all your videos. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful things. My heart is full of joy. ❤❤😊

Good afternoon Possum Patty! 💕🧚‍♀✨ Oh I love the silly Saturday shares, we just never know what you'll be showing us! Colorforms were so much fun back in the day. I love that the ones you found still have the same logo - brings back so many memories. Will have to have a peek around and see if I can find some as well, I'd love to write about them in my 70s/80s childhood memories journal. (which I haven't made yet lol!) Have to admit that I've never seen any of the Trolls movies either. Maybe I'll watch the first one this weekend. Love the page you made with the Colorforms set - how fun that it's interactive. Hi Patty. I’m enjoying your journals. Your ideas are so very original. By the way, Dollar Tree also has paper dolls in their toy/book area. You might want to keep your eyes open for them. I kept looking at those cutout hearts on the first page, thinking that a strip of that glitter paper would look nice behind them.

hiii! that flower journal cover WOW! that's amazing especially for your first time 😍 the nature magnets is so fun, and the trolls are fun too! i wouldnt be surprised if it's way thinner nowadays, quality of everything has dropped so much because corporate greed ✨🥴 anyway, i loved hearing about colourforms, I'd never seen them before in the Netherlands 😊 i was a big colouring book person though, always playing with art. so happy im back to that now
