we only get the 4k version on KZbin , I can tell it's quite good, tripod needed until they sort out with an update ,better for close up work as distance seems to be washed out that lizard looks great

Agreed. It definitely works better and has greater sense of depth with close subjects in the foreground. I’ll post some daytime samples shortly, but in good lighting it’s not too bad with distance either.

Try to film moving objects on any distance. You will see the problem

Thanks for posting, I came here from Reddit. Did you upload this file straight out of camera? I uploaded a video to KZbin that I shot on the Calf Visinse in VR 180 but it is not showing up as VR 180 on KZbin.

I rescaled and exported the video using Adobe Premiere. You need to inject metadata to your file so KZbin knows it is 180/360. You can do this with Adobe or one of the free tools available on the internet. I believe Google used to have one but you may need to search around for it.

@@virtualgum Thanks for the response! So, just to be 100% certain. CALF claims that the video's shot on their camera can be uploaded straight to KZbin but that isn't the case? The files must contain VR180 meta data right out of the camera because when I transfer them to my Meta Quest and view them, they display correctly as VR180.

I uploaded my sample clip and it was just a flat screen yet 3D image. What settings did you export to be the usual left to right vr 3d experience in premiere pro? I must be exporting incorrectly

You should be able to simply check the "Video is VR" box (and maybe set the field of view to 180).
