I love Calgary, but I miss the old Calgary from the 80's where you could actually see the skies and the roads weren't congested.

First flight was Pacific Western airbus to Edmonton in DC-6 from Mcall field. Very bumpy landing at the muni .

When I came to Calgary in 1978 I would sit at the viewpoint above downtown and marvel at the high rises. The tower, the two dome towers, the home tower, and the international hotel were the main ones with a few scattered others. Now you cant even see those buildings from the same place.

Ha yes the old trolly bus lines, i saw the Sheraton Building to...the old days were great. CP Rail Dayliner ran just under the Huskey Tower.
